I was invited, along with other college career center professionals from around the country, in Dec. 1999 to experience the College Program and literally cried with joy and inspiration when the Tapestry of Nations Parade was performed for us. I will never, ever forget the magnificent music and the moving majesty of the parade itself. I have since lost the tape of the music but when I hear it on this video, I am carried back to that moment in time when the world was so beautiful and peaceful. Disney has outdone itself----again. I will always treasure the memory.

Someone commenting on the instrumental-only youtube of this suggested it should be performed for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Even in this cynical age, the 'message' of the Olympics dovetails perfectly with the Tapestry of Nations storyline. So emphatically yes! And it the parade should be put onto the streets of Los Angeles, not in a $100-admission park, and the chorus could be local community groups walking with the parade, and… oh, if there is anyone on the Olympic planning committee and at Disney with the vision, it could be an even more unforgettable event than the original parade. And that's saying a lot.

This was one of the best parades at epcot. I saw it when I went to epcot during Christmas in 1999 and I stayed at the walt Disney world resort until new year's day.

I was at Epcot nearly every weekend during the "Millenium Celebration" to watch this parade. So great!

The prologue narrator was Jeff Bennett and the voice of the Sage of Time was Tony Pope!

Epcot should have a new Tapestry parade celebrating the end of the COVID-19 pandemic!

Why couldn't they have just kept it!! As the years go by they could modify and enhance it. It was so beautiful to watch this live!!!
