Thanks for this Rory, I recently bought a (very) cheap non tunable bodhran from fleabay,and after removing the fixed cross bars, I taped it using Scotch super 88 tape, and it now sounds great.. Thanks again.. Marc.

I followed your instruction here and it seemed to work great, that is until my skin changed its tightness and the tape pulled away about 2 hours later. Any suggestions for dealing with skin fluctuations? Thanks for any help :)

This is more difficult than it looks, how much would it cost for you to tape mine?
