TAO: Healthy Attitude, Healthy Lifestyle

Narrated by: Gabra Zackman
Language: English
Taoism isn’t a spiritual extracurricular activity, it’s an integral practice for living all of life to the fullest. Taoist living rests on four pillars-the public, the domestic, the private, and the spirit lives. Not only do Taoists strive to live these four aspects fully and in a balanced way, they also believe there is an outlook and an art to each of them.

"Tao is a name which indicates without defining". "An "individualism without ego" is Taoism's indispensable characteristic". These are phrases from a book titled The Real Tao.

Hard to say it's mostly a lost practice like janisum in India if the source culture abandons something it's worth critical thought.

It does indeed 🙏. I am convinced if one is open and sincere to truth, it will come to you. Check out the book by Eva Wong "Being Taoist". See if it your community center offers Tai Chi. Tai Chi is movement within the Tao. Take care 🙏

I think that it’s might not be ideal advice for modern times or the text is not complete knowledge, also it’s mostly advice how to ideally become the most healthy but the kings and the salespeople and politicians and all the professions might be or not expressing their nature inside the dao then the advice is not full, being perfectly healthy is not all of it, there is people that has their nature being very ambitious and for them it might be different. Now we should fight to do something that not killing is like working corporate jobs that we are designed to do by school in this time rebellion is also natural to no being captured like an animal inside corporate job it’s more like a war time rather peaceful time, completely getting rid of ambitions or desires is advice for a sage, however dao is not against all the professions and peoples expressions their nature, nature of the warrior is to be a warrior even if he gets he’s punishment it’s he’s nature until he’s completely worked out he’s duty’s during many lives before he will be able to become a sage. However it’s very joyful to engage with.

So do I understand correctly, if the king is living he’s nature as a king it’s natural to be ambitious but not excessively ambitious right? Same as nature of the warrior or politician are their nature inside the great law, they can and should express it so the advice completely gave up on desires and ambitions is only relevant if they are ready to become a sages and will not happen before it’s time. As I feel there is a little gap so that when this knowledge was given there was more like an emperors governing system and outside of that there was almost no place for changing your profession, but now we have this moment of natural need of expressing our inner nature with arts, talents, expression otherwise we are damned to work terrible jobs and the only way to get there is with ambition and sure dedication but also competitiveness, I can rethink myself and say okay only we should not do it excessively but it’s not what this book is telling… todays need for genuine path of making money to live that is not forced by circumstances of poverty makes this life so unbalanced but just staying poor is also feel like unnecessary self diminishing and also leads to poor health and energy so at this point my mind cracks…😂❤
