Love this tune.

I always listen to this tune everyday. Tantrum Desire is my absolute favourite DJs, and this is my absolute favourite tune. There is nothing else that is gonna replace this as my all time number one favourite. They will remain, this will remain, it's just so frigging awesome! I don't get any of this new school shit, This high-energy seizure-inducing electro-dumbstep crap barely makes it as dnb outside of employing a sixteen-beat template for me. I'm still glad I've got labels Critical/Shogun Audio/Metalheadz/Dispatch/Horizons/Utopia Music/and quite a few other labels that don't release this kind of cheesy nonsense. And what the fuck kinda name is Tantrum Desire, anyways? Might as well have been called "Petulant Child" with this kinda sound. Flame away, 18-25 year-old EDM demographic. I couldn't care less.

Your problem is the same problem that some of my extremely talented classical and jazz music friends have. You are judging a genre by the same standards as a whole different genre. You aren't looking at what makes this song good, but rather what it doesn't do that some completely different style of song does do. Respond to me of a list of things in this song that you like: i.e. vocals, a certain sound, or structure of some part of the song.

Jake Gray I'd have to agree, i'm new to DnB but this track was one that caught my interest at the right moment (after a festival with friends) and imo it's a mood elevating track. It and a few other tracks made me explore the genre, and go to see a dnb show live (Culture Shock). Now I lean towards what I would define as deeper, more technical dnb such as The Upbeats/Mefjus/Noisia/Misanthrop/Phace/Emperor/Calyx&Teebee/BlackSunEmpire/InsideInfo etc etc.. and realise it's a simple track but I think that's exactly what it's good for. Give the artists a chance to develop like the above, or if they keep to this style, so be it. No harm done, and it may bring more people to explore the genre as I have.
