sanemi and obanai are friends! i think the fanbook confirmed that they get along since sanemi said he gets along with obanai the most and obanai said sanemi was a good friend. even though their friendship is implied in the manga we didn’t really get to see much so i’m happy the anime touches more on it!

Oh I didn't even consider that the upper 4 might've been replaced since last we saw at the start of season 3 they hadn't replaced Daki and Gyutaro

I have to admit they were very good at improvising this Hashira training arc to make it into 1 season because if you follow the manga it seems like 2-3 eps would be enough but they made it 8 eps

Was it confirmed to be 8 episodes though? I mean as a manga reader I'm surprised they turned Tengen's 2 page training into an entire episode. And I feel like they may include up to chapter 139 in this season sincr it seems like the most suitable ending to it....(I'll feel bad for the anime onlys though since it would be the biggest cliffhanger they'll ever see in any anime)

@@MustafizurRahman-dq8nc Doubt that would be the case for mui though😭 I mean he litreally made Tanjiro pass to the next one really fast due to him being bias😂 Maybe next ep will have both Mui and Mitsuri? I kinda don't think Mitsuri's training deserves an entire episode and also kinda scared from the amount of fan service that will potentially be there.💀

Bro... So No spoilers. Mai-san as manga reader. this whole episode is 98% anime original... I just, the training sequence of Tangiro was merely a few panels. Now they're adding so much characterization to Tengen (who in the book has nothing much left after Entertainment District). To Obanai and Sanemi, heck even the foot soldiers. Normally when you deviate from the source material it gets bad. But, they're making it 500x better. I never even knew Tengen wanted to keep going, or Sanemi and Obanai having this chat, and showing vulnerability and thinking about what they saw in ep 1. Also in the data book, it's confirmed these two are the closest friend to each other. JUST WOW, This shows how much Ufotable loves the series they adapt. Specifically Demon Slayer and Fate.

Absolutely this entire episode is exclusive to the anime, the only thing that appears in the manga is when Tanjiro arrives, greets the wives, and then leaves

crazy good episode

これからオリジナルなシーンが所々入ってくるので、新しい発見があるかもよ〜〜🤗

I heard this episode only adapted 2 pages which is CRAZY (not in bad way for me) so all the traning part with Tengen is anime original because in the manga we don't see the full training it was off screen in the manga. I kinda get why people think it was "boring/waste of time" but this added contents helps alot not only for the story that was lacking in the manga but for more character interactions which also is main issue for people who read the manga so how can people be pissed/mad about this? You should be grateful that Ufotable and the staff is giving this content for the fans. Plus the Sanemi (Wind Hashira) and Obanai (Serpent Hashira) talk was anime original scenes as well and hopefully we gonna see them fight each other maybe in the next episode if not then oh well. P.S This season is 8 episode in total not 11. We gonna be half way through this arc already so the pacing is not bad so far but if this Tengen traning would have been like 2 episode when would feel like they dragging this season alot so no issue with the pacing at all. I know you said there was noz much progression was happening but DS not always needs to have that like we had eps that didn't had much progression "cough" Tokito VS Upper 5 demon "cough".

Sanemi's sword guard is actually a "spinning top" and you can see how his breathing techniques are animated to generate a spinning motion as though from the sword guard itself.

Jesus, I knew that these season there will be fillers but a whole episode from 1 page of the manga is crazy , I just hope is not going to be 1 episode for every hashira training, I love the hashiras but the pacing is too slow (at least 2 hashiras per episode would be ok).
