The moment when she trembles and mentions Muzan, she means he's the one who's scared of Tanjiro.

Spoiler warning: Muzan is actually scared of the person Daki sees, because Tanjiro says the exact same words this demon Slayer said after nearly killing Muzan which triggers the memory

Something the anime leaves out: Demons are entirely made up of Muzan's cells, Upper-Moons are closest in potency to Muzan and so inherit his memories, fragments, the higher the number the more memories they have the closer to potency they are to Muzan, it's why Muzan can also see from their eyes, he controls every demon biologically, it's how he knew about Akaza's fight with Rengoku he literally has a hive-mind with every demon and can hear, see and sense everything they do because they are literally all just extensions of his own blood and flesh, going back to season 1 it's how Muzan was able to create a massive hand out of the fake lower-Moons mouth when Tamayo tricked her into saying Muzan's name, he destroyed her instantly and stopped her regeneration before turning her cells into a massive arm to crush her head. This is why even though Daki isn't scared of Tanjiro, Muzan's cells force her body to tremble and become scared as almost like PTSD his memories play out in her head. All demons are manifestations of Muzan's biological matter, the anime leaves this important information out.

No they are not made entirely out of Muzan's cells if they were they would be physically identical to him. they simply are imbued with his Blood

Yeah the dub dialogue doesn't quite capture the scene well. In the sub, she says something like "its Muzan's cells. They're telling me to run" or something along those lines.

Kenny and Montana there's info left out from this episode that the anime doesn't cover but the manga does.. Seeing Daki murder the innocent civilians, Tanjiro became so enraged and focused in his anger that his blood vessels burst so his eyes were bleeding, and he completely forgot to breathe; all while going God-mode. In the manga it explains that humans have 2 limits: "stamina" and "life" limit. Tanjiro forgot about his stamina limit and was about to go over his life limit. If his sister Hanako hadn't reminded him to breathe at that very moment he would have suffocated himself and died on the spot. Also, Nezuko "awakened" and became enraged because she smelled/sensed Muzans cells in Daki, and that triggered the memories of Muzan slaughtering her family. Not to mention in the manga where it said "human have limits but what about demons?" Meaning her power is limitless There's a quote from the manga which they unfortunately left out of the episode: "If Humans could harness the power of hatred and anger alone...demons would have disappeared from this world long ago". (which would essentially be the point of someone mastering and constantly using this "God mode" sun breathing that Tanjiro exhibited)

I remembered that a while back I had calculated (estimated) how long Tanjiro wasn't breathing... it came out to around 12 minutes, so yeah bro was about to straight up die.

Daki possesses Muzan's memories is because she has tasted his blood. A person's mind and body are capable remembering events from that person's past.

"That doesn't sound simple." Technically it's quite simple, what it isn't is easy.

I have never been more excited to see a reaction! Just the whole rest of this season. So many incredible moments!

Daki basically experienced some of muzans ptsd when she saw the Memorie of the Swordsman. He was the only demon slayer that muzan was afraid of. Also, nezuko in this epasod makes demons from s1 like the drum demon, swomp demon, and Rui look like a joke.

Important question: which looks slays more? Dark- or white-haired w/ green tips Daki?

That’s a negative. Muzan doesn’t like Daki because she doesn’t remember her past… Most Demons don’t remember their past until they die. Rui the Lower Moon didn’t have his memory before dying. Akaza was not seen to remember his past.

the amount of people malding that htey didnt get the character right is immaculate. like when you first watched this episode did you not atleast think "hey that looks like his dad, probably before he got sick" or "probably his ancestor"

6:12 so fun fact about tanjiro's eyes here. Blood vessels popping in the eye from stress is actually a real thing, however they can't just burst out of nowhere from emotional stress. Instead they can burst from great physical stress, meaning that either A: in that moment this was the farthest Tanjiro had ever pushed his body and exerted himself or B: Tanjiro was so incredibly angry that he tensed his body so hard it caused his blood vessels to burst... Or a combination of the two

This was a 10 out 10 episode can't wait for more

If ya’ll have some free time, you should check out an AMV called “Rage” by Hashira’s Heart. It connects things from season 1 to this battle that I didn’t think about before. Loved this episode! The Kamado siblings were epic here!

This is one of the greatest anime of the (New Generation) its called Black Clover the (New Generation) is anime made in 2019 like demon slayer, Dr Stone with I also recommend.

Its crazy how you exactly got it right my guy yoriichi damaged muzan to the point where he was tramitized and dint wanna go out anymore it crazy how on point you got it

I love how Tanjirou just enters peak psychosis in this episode and stays that way for almost the entire season

I’m tellin you, next ep is what I’m really hyped for

Tanjiro's eyes turned red because he ruptured the blood vessels in his eyes. Extremely high and uncharacteristic blood pressure can cause it. The medical term is a Subconjunctival Hemorrhage. In other words, Tanjiro was so furious that he popped the fragile blood vessels in his eyes from his blood pressure rising.

Hi! Been watching your reactions for a while now, my first video that I watched of yours were Attack on Titan reactions, maybe I could suggest what you should watch next? I really like Neon Genesis Evangelion (all 24 TV episodes and the 25th and 26th episodes/films), this series is really close to my heart and I think its a perfect anime to decipher and analyze because it has a lot of psychological stuff.

I watched all of fairy tail desperately waiting for any sort of stakes, but there never is any. Even in the final season I thought they'd finally be brave enough to kill off a character or two, but they backpedal on that instantly.

this is their first time watching it, but they put the episodes up on Patreon earlier than on youtube. So they just recently watched season 3 episode 6 and have either already put that on patreon or will soon, but they just now uploaded the video for season 2 episode 6 (this one) to youtube. On some of the other shows they watch/watched, like avatar or my hero, Kenny has already seen everything but Montana is watching it for the first time
