He didn’t use thunder breathing he doesn’t know any of the forms. He just used a tip that zenitsu had given him about using total concentration and focusing it toward his legs. He’s not actually using thunder breathing

Tanjiro is not sun breathing user. Hinokami kagura is copy of sun breathing its not same tenchiques are same but not quite. He will be the true sun breathing user in sunrise countdown arc

To me, he is combining Thunder Breathing's first form, Thunderclap and *Flash* with Hinokami Kagura's first form, the Dance he used against Rui. That's why this new attack is called Dancing Flash.

@@LordFarquad2 I do understand your perspective, but to me, it seems like Zenitsu was directly teaching Tanjiro Thunder Breathing. Total Concentration is something he already knows, something he should be constantly doing non-stop. Thunder breathing is just the application of it towards your legs, as the form is primarily about speed. Total concentration, to me, is just the total application of your breathing. When he attacks, he does say "Total Concentration: Dancing Flash," when he usually says "Water Breathing" or "Hinokami Kagura" in his previous fights. I think this is because it wouldn't be accurate to say Hinokami Kagura or Thunder Breathing alone, as he is using both in tandem. It's rather fitting for his development, as Tanjiro realized in Entertainment District that creating new forms is all about combining elements from previous styles and blending them into something that works best for you. While Water Breathing offers flexibility and Hinokami Kagura offers overall attack power, Thunder Breathing is where speed comes in.

Giyu also used total concentration as well but he didn't use thunder breathing he used his own speed when he killed Rui

So, am I just seeing things, or does he at the beginning use a bit of water breathing as well just as he’s launching off, if I’m not, my guy used 3 breathing styles at once, if not, he still used Sun breathing, and thunder breathing at once, which is still Insane.

Tanjiro does NOT know Thunder breathing, he only know the running technique Zenitsu taught him. That doesn’t mean he knows how to fight with Thunder breathing and it’s forms
