Well spoken. You know why the 70's 80's and 90's are timeless? I have lots of other examples: Red Hot Chilli Peppers with Under the Bridge, Sting Englishman in New York, Elton John Nikita and many other gems. Why? Because that was the pre computer era. After 2000 it went downhill. The digital world ruined our creativity.

Мне 51. Слушаю эту песню всю жизнь. И никогда не надоедает. Саундтрек к моей жизни.

Всегда в этой песне была какая-то грустная загадка. Помню как слушал её в детстве не понимая слов, а потом прочитал перевод и не ошибся в ощущениях.

I love Tanita's alto voice, a very rare and unique tone. Also love her poetic lyrics & songwriting. When I was in Paris in early '89, her album Ancient Heart was on the Top 3, and this song was played over and over in heavy rotation. It shows that the French and fellow Europeans know how to appreciate unique talent. Such wonderful memory

Being a teenager without a smartphone, you had to be creative! I just love to remember the letters, the poems, the first love stories, the friendships. I feel grateful to have roots in another kind of era 😊 But not ungrateful to be here now, facing this huge transition.

@@lilab3630 I used to listen to some house music. Inner city an stuff I truly loved those times, not a care in the world and so full of spirit and life it was amazing. Awakening to the beauty of females and music. This was in Scotland, just outside Glasgow a vibrant place to be at such a young age.

OMG! I've spent more than 12 years trying to find this song and I finally found it ! I'm so amazed! I listened to it when I met the man I'm divorcing nowadays. What a huge coincidence... The song was there playing on the soundtrack of a movie, and today it appeared again, magically, at the end of that stage of my life . Amazing! I love it!
