I always defend them in comment section but today even I'm annoyed.............trust me I'm a huge Avengers fan but I would still choose this movie over big budget CGI any day. Americans are used to high quality CGI but at what cost? Now they can't enjoy the beauty of this movie cause the CGI isn't good enough 🤷🏻‍♀️ Now if it was bad editing or directing then I would understand but this whole CGI thing is too much...if CGI was everything for us Indians then Thugs of Hindostan would be superhit🤦🏻‍♀️..( sorry for ranting🙏🏻)

R u kidding me!! This was not even good CGI as per Indian standards. An indie film like Tummbad showed more realistic depiction of maharashtra village than this big budget movie. Forget Tumbad, watch bajirao mastani, some of the scenes with color pallete and set decoration was so realistic( like all ranveer scenes) that we couldn't see any fake CGI in it. On the contrary, i couldn't even finish first few scenes of this trailer. I was surprised how these 2 guys watched the whole trailer. But, again they get paid to watch this so could understand.

People from or living in maharashtra would be aware of this story. Other places not so much. I stay near the fort that was attacked by tanhaji in a guerilla attack, and the story is very true and almost unbelievable.

The story is totally true with some fictional spices added up.. You should be assured as it is Ajay Devgan, he is far better than Sartaj when it comes to acting. The only thing is that you haven't seen his stuff.

We go to hollywood movies for cgi , here we love great story telling. CGI is secondary for us. Please do not judge Bollywood movies with cgi. As you rightly said we spend a fraction of what hollywood does .

What part they showed like animated horse ridding was really a animation. It is because of in the movie someone is narrating the story, first they will show animation and then the real story Starts .

Of course we know our regional history. Kondhana fort (Now called Singhagad) is 27kms(16 miles) from my place. I live near ShaniwarWada Pune where Bajirao-Mastani was shot. We grew up on Shivaji & Peshwa history. Pune is known as "Vidyyecha Maher" Education's Homefront. Even if this place hv become Cosmopolitan city with Traffic jams & Students from all across globe coming to study in Symbiosis. We know Who Tanaji Malusure was. -Adhi lagin Kondhanyacha, mag Raibacha (First will marry Kondhana, only then will marry my son Raiba) - Gadd aala pan Sinvha gela (We conquered the Fort but Lost a Lion) *which is why Kondhana was Renamed "Sinvha-gadd"(Lion'sFort)

I liked the 2nd trailer better because it had a emotional touch in it

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had done many surgical strikes. The thing is he had a small army and he was up against the whole Moughal army. So he made use of surgical strikes and was quite successful in it. We consider him God in Maharashtra. Thanks to him we are still Hindus.

most of us grew up with these stories. the fort in the film is in the city of Pune. alot of locals go there almost every weekend just for a hike and the history is preserved on the fort with walking tours and there's a monument built for Tanaji Malusure in his remembrance on the fort as well

War music was made by YRF music not T series. SAAHO music was made by T series.

He respected all religion cultural heritage. He respected womens in his kingdom and his enemy's womens too. He saved Hinduism religion from cruel Mughals. 360 years passed away still great king chatrapti shivaji Maharaj alive in every cast and religion peoples heart 💞 People celebrate his birthday like a big festival. Tanahji was a general in maratha forces....he was busy in his sons wedding ...when Shivaji's mother called him....to capture fort gondhana to take revenge of insult by some mughals...he said "now there will be two marriages first gondhana to Martha Empire and then his son's.... Gondhana was invincible tall and stronghold of Mughal empire... It once resembled pride of maratha but it fell into Mughal empire due to some peace treaty... Tanha ji captured gondhana/kondhana fort...which is almost invincible fort due to its large cannons... And the fort warden was rajput lord... He ate complete elephant in just 1-2 days...he was extremely trained warrior....He killed his wife so that they don't fall in enemy hands... If he looses...uday bhan Rathod ... He was extreme swordsmen....he could kill an angry elephant with his bare hands.... He could not loose any battle easily in almost any terrain.. The day tanha ji attacked the gondhana fort...all the fort gaurd were celebrating and drunk... Tanhaji and his men climbed the wall to open the fort from inside out... Because everyone was drunk...the udaybhan's men dropped there gaurd attention... And lost the fortress... Even when uday bhan and his all men were drunk they killed almost a whole army of maratha warrior while being high on alcohol and weed... It was bloody battle .... Tanahji was incredible fort buster but this fort of gondhana claimed his life... Shivaji the maratha confederacy lord said upon hearing the news..."gondhana won but lion lost"....
