TANGZU x DIVINUS FUDU VERSE 1 REVIEW!!! How do UDU the FUDU that UDU???

I was in desperate need of a "normal", "very good" IEM to review. And the FUDU delivered. Jack of all trades, and master of none. It was just the tonic I was craving. If you already have an all 'rounder, then this set might just be redundant, but if you don't, it is worth consideration. It is well appointed with ear tips, and a faux-leather pouch. It is verything you need and nothing you don't. Very nicely done!

Got mine on sale for £50 and really enjoying them. They made the "Hans Zimmer - Why so Serious?" soundtrack sound like it was made by Bass Zimmer, especially at around the 3 minute mark. 10/10 comfort with the Divinus tips, for some reason the Sancai ones just end up folding weirdly in my ear and not sealing even with different sizes and insertion techniques.

Nice!!! Agree on the Sancai. I have a couple of sets but I find myself reaching for others first.

Great review! The fudu seems like a great iem for a certain set of people. Also the matte black looks like something I would love to daily

Hey thanks! The comfort level is superior to a lot of sets too due to the size and shape of the shell. Definitely a daily driver!

If your wife likes bass you should try the Juzear clear and the XSL-X one both about $50 well built, great cable and nice case, best value iem's for bass around

I gave the Juzear Clear a try. Ended up giving them away. They just didn’t hit for me. That said, I know they are supposed to be “bass cannons”, which was not my experience. Far from it. I tip rollled, cable swapped, tried different sources, Dac/amps, everything. Nothing got them sounding anything more than flat and boring. Makes me wonder if I got a dud, or if my ears/brain just wouldn’t accept them properly. Either way, they’re gone. I hope my friend has better luck with them. I will look into the XSL-X however. Thank you 😊

The Fiio K11 Dac/amp combo is my primary desktop unit. I also have an Ifi zendac v2, smsl dl200 and an Xduoo TA-22 (save your money, it’s cool but not worth $500). The Fiio K11 is $129 when it’s not on sale and it handles 95% of my IEMs and headphones with ease. It’s pretty powerful and versatile too. That would be my recommendation.

One of the best choices is also one of the safest. The Kefine Delci checks a lot of boxes and its tuning is pretty universally liked. The Simgot EA500LM has probably the most immersive soundstage, but it comes at the cost of spicy treble. If that doesn’t bother you, then I can recommend that over the Delci for its techs. And if you want total clarity and instrument separation, it’s the TipsyxEPZ Star&one. But that comes at the cost of some mid bass presence. The Delci is the true all rounder out of the 3, but based on your preferences any one of them could hit for you.

How tolerant are you of treble energy and extension?

So I've got 2 answers for you. The safe answer is the Truthear Nova. It's Harman tuned, has excellent technical perfomance and handles just about all genre's with ease. $150 The unsafe answer, if you want your mind blown, is the Ulim by Kontinum, which is freaking nuts in detail retrieval. Best I've heard. Sub bass over mid bass, pretty gnarly pinna gain too. But damn. I've got them in right now and they never cease to amaze me. $120

@@BassDad8 I just looked at them. I saw the nova before but it's 180 dollars here 😭😭 The Ulim one is not available here. Nova seems promising if I can up my budget 20. As for tolerant of treble for me, it's bit complicated. My left ear hears sounds little less and muffled and I can't hear any high frq. from it but to be honest it feels pleasant and when I hear music from headphone, I don't feel anything wrong, maybe because I got used to it. But to compensate the left ear inability my right ear is sensitive and picky, sometimes it gets more intense, it's not painful but it's unpleasant, I generally go outside with Air-pods, car horns bother me so much. But to be honest I can still enjoy good sound quality I just lower the volume of right channel of my Airpods Pro 1 (which you can do in iPhone). Airpods sounds good but not immersive, I was fine with that, but I want pure sound quality with my PC where I don't need convenience. As I already blown my hard-earned money on Airpods (Kins of servs medical purpose), I don't want to spend too much again considering IEMs are very good within those prices and my ears are not super trained.

I wrote a big reply and it didn’t got send earlier 😔 Anyway here is in short: The Nova seems promising but it’s 180 dollars here and the Ulim is not available in my country anywhere! As for my ear tolerance, it’s a bit complicated for me. I hear less & muffled sound through my left ear and can’t hear any high-frequency from it but it doesn’t bother me rather it feels pleasant to me. And to compensate my left ear, my right ear got so sensitive to high frequencies, it’s not painful but it’s unpleasant and sometimes gets more intense to the point I prefer my left ear more 😂 but despite all those problems when I hear music it doesn’t break my immersion, I can still enjoy music very much, maybe I got used to my odd frequency response of ear. I bought AirPods Pro 1, 2 years ago and it helps me in medical ways such as i use transparency settings for my left ear and block the right ear, i go outside with it, can’t tolerate crowds or car horns! As per sound goes, AirPods sound just good not spectacular or anything but I want pure immersive sound specially for my PC where wireless convenience doesn’t matter. I was never so sure if I wanted to go in audiophiles world but I think I want that. 😅 But I have tight budget, that’s why trying to find the best one for my budget as I think IEMs are pretty good for less price and I don’t think i should spend more money, obviously I don’t have particularly trained ears 😅

I’m tempted to recommend something that I don’t own and haven’t heard. But that’s a little irresponsible so I’ll just link the review by HBB to the Shozy P20 that is $140. Being that it is a large DD, I think it might have what you want in FR while avoiding what you cannot tolerate. I’ll post the link in a minute
