In Tangled: the series releases from within, they're aren't supposed ready to get engaged like how many times does Eugene trying to propose Rapunzel in season 1 up to 2? Maybe the creators haven't had the idea of Cassandra when they made "happely ever aver". So maybe Cassandra did indeed turn good again. well at least I hope she does... But personally I believe the theory that mother Gothel was still alive behind that door and took Cassandra's place. So the real Cassandra is still behind that door and that's why" Cassandra " said something like" you should be careful who you trust". Because it was mother Gothel who tried to manipulate rapunzel to trust no one.

Cassandra started to become from Rapunzel because she was tasked with protecting her but Rapunzel would not listen to her advice. Multiple KZreadrs theorize that Cassandra is Mother Gothel's daughter, so you can skip that. Cassandra is 4 years older than Rapunzel, making her 23 right now.

Actually, the wedding short was after the series. It is true that the short was launched before the series but if you watched it at the complete end of Tangled (the series is included) Raps and Eugene finally proposed and got married.

The mere concept of forsight for them to have characters before a show existed would be crazy. Here's the real reason why Cassandra and every one else absent at the wedding weren't there: THEY DIDN'T EXIST. Disney had no plan for the series at the time of the movie. When the show started, they needed new characters. Hence: Cassandra.

After Rapunzel defeated Cassandra, Cassandra probably ran away bc she felt really bad for what she did

it’s quite funny that this was before s3 was released and yes she is gothels bio daughter which was a shock

It's possible that if Cassandra was evil from the start she snuck Rerpunzel out to the black rocks on purpose so Rerpunzel's hair could grow back. She knew that Repunzel trusted her so she decided to USE Rerpunzel's new magic to claim her so called destiny of claiming the moon stone and betraying her in the end. (if you put my theory in the video, please use the name "AsfandYar" instead of Bushra Sami. But please do put my name in it. I spent alot of time thinking. 😊

I haven't been watching the series lately but found myself falling back in love after hearing about Varian's fall. After watching this episode, I went back and watched Varian's story. My theory is that knowing Cassandra is adopted, she could possibly be related to Varian. It may be possibly her father is in that amber. Also she touched the reverse incantation & burned her hand, placing armor on herself to stop the pain. We don't know what she saw in that room, it may be possible her arm is the cause of her family.

But what if Gothel somehow used the magic glowing flower to become younger and Cassandra is actually Mother Gothel?
