I've never been to these exotic railway places. But at the same time I can say that I've been there... HOW? Thru my TRAIN SIMULATOR... which has reproduced these routes with amazing accuracy. Sitting here in India, I've thoroughly enjoyed each and every moment of the simming as much as I would love to see and experience those places in reality. Thank U Simulator

If you use the Trans Cana Highway Between Calgary and Vancouver, you can't miss it. Parks Canada provides a highway stop there. To encourage visitors to view the trains, Unfortunately, high trees obscure some of the view and they'll keep growing; it's a National Park which the railway happens to go through. Solution: park in the designed area and move to a better spot than the crowd for a better view (up or down the hill, but not too far).@ On the way between the tunnels, the train passes under the Trans Canada Highway twice (but it isn' "The Sipral Tunnels". A great view can be obtained up the hill across Wapta Lake, The area is about 1 hour north of the Montana/Washington border.

THAT has to be the most unusual view of the Canadian Spirals I have ever seen, and I have hiked the area. I magnified the video and it’s quite un sharp, leasing me to conclude that this is either a layout, or most likely a simulation. Sorry In all the hikes I have taken in the area over 30 years, I have never seen the Canadian Spirals from that angle. In addition, there would never be 2 SD pushers and for certain with this length of train a Distributed Power Unit in the middle. I magnified the video and everything is fuzzy, which would not have been the case in nature. Looks to be from a simulator. I live in Calgary, the home of CPKC and see 2-mile long trains by the day (complete with a DPU, pusher or both, and live about 4 hrs east of the Tunnels. To recap, the Canadian Spirals form a double the approach to the Lower (eastbound) is under a couple of Trans Canada Highway bridges; , and westbound trains skirt along a couple of lakes; hitting the Upper Spiral first; and then, through a 320 degree turn, the locomotives emerge just a few seconds later, 56 ft below.the rest of its train. Nice video, but on my scale of knowing the area, only a 1 out of 5.

@@LeanOnMe-qv3io The angle would approximately, several hundred feet above the old Big Hill bridge next to the TransCanada Highway looking west toward the upper spiral tunnel. The Partridge siding is on the upper line and the Yoho East switch is just out of frame on the lower track (going east but track west)
