Great video. Nice samples to show the quality of the images this lens can produce. I had it for a few weeks for testing and ended up buying it. In image quality, it compares favorably to my f2.8 lenses which are more "pro" lenses. Sharp throughout the range and sharp even wide open. The 1:2 macro on the short end and 1:4 on the long end is a nice bonus.

Quick question on the fit of the lens. My copy is kind of hard to attach to the body. By that, I mean you have to force it a little bit to turn before it locks. I was told by a Tamron rep that this lens has this issue. I have five other Tamron lenses, including the 150-500 and non of them have this hard to turn issue. My concern was damage to the camera and the lens mount. Did you have the same experience with your copy of the lens?

It was tight when I first got and has always fit very snug . I actually have had this conversation with someone else sometime back. In addition I have spoke to Tamron about this and was told it is common based on the weather sealing and the camera e-mount 📷 adjusting to the seal.

Mine was the same, your camera mount can handle it. It means the tolerances are tight and that is a good thing.

@@Boskibro I wish I had known that. I returned the first copy. It took them almost seven weeks to replace it with a new one. And the new one is the same way! Surprised with Tamron as my much heavier 150-500 has no such issues.
