I thought about this Kit for my 8X4 Tipper Truck.... until I saw the PRICE!! Definitely lacking in value. Then I found an Actuator Kit on Evilbay, for only $150 (£98)!!! 😮 Figured it was at least worth a try. It's a decent piece of Chinesesium, nice Machined Aluminiuminium. Instead of the little 260 sized Motor in the Tamiya, it comes with a 540!! It also comes with a clone WP1060 ESC. Considering I've got a large Dump Bed, that might get filled with real dirt, that extra power might come into play... No, it doesn't come with the bells and whistles of the Tamiya, but it's a THIRD of the price! Ill be doing a very thorough Video on the installation and operation of this, because others might be interested in saving a buttload of money! Only thing is, the mechanism is purely made for a Tipper Bed, I can't see how it would work on a Tow Boom.

I've enjoyed following this build series and am seriously considering buying the wrecker kit , 🤔
