    Really learning alot from your videos mate. Got a question though, if the one way and lock diffs are installed what gyro percentage would you recommend, thanks.

    hey! it will vary depending on the gyro brand and each car., some cars with very low Left Right EPA can't handle a lot of gyro gain because the wheel will wobble a lot but I would normally start with this. Try a high setting first like 70% Move the car forward straight if the wheel is wobbling then it's likely you have too much but a little bit of wobble is ok as long as it's not too noticeable. Then when drifting, if you struggle to kick the tail out (oversteer) then it's likely you have too much gyro gain, so reduce further. But if you find that you're fish tailing too much and the drift is not very smooth then it's likely you have too little gain try increasing it. I usually work with 5% increment to notice any difference. with Radiolink gyro and 4wd setup, I normally use 25%-35% for 50:50 and with Countersteer setup I use about 40%-50% hope this helps and thanks for watching!

    Interesting test. I just tested this controller with a proper RWD drift chassis. I am surprised how much trouble you were having with AWD. Is it still 50-50 driven, or are you overdriving the rear axle?

  • @monsrc3122

    @monsrc3122

    It is still 50:50, the Tamiya Driftech tires were quite difficult to use on asphalt and I wanted to use only Tamiya gear. Also in this video I was using stock diff for the demo of just adding a gyro and see what happens, will replace both diffs for next video BTW I'm a big fan of your drift videos! thanks for commenting.

    Great video! I don’t have a tt02 but wondering your thoughts on general for gyros. Does placement of the gyro matter? If it does would it be better to have it on the side like the tt02 or would in the front between the wheels be ok?

    I've been meaning to make a video about that. It matters a little, it shouldn't be on the servo because the servo vibrates. Ideally it should be rear center of the chassis if you can, it will make it response slightly better because you get more movement on the rear side but it's not a big deal.

    I always run brushless, Tamiya TBLM-02S brushless motor series are good value. Otherwise I also run the cheapest Hobbywing and G-Force brushless motors and 60amp ESC. I have so many cars it's too expensive to run the good expensive motors. For the transmitter & receiver I run Radiolink RF6G series because the transmitters are cheap and has a built in Gyro which saves me a lot of money from buying gyro and its good enough for CS drifting. As for battery, I recommend you spend extra on nice Brand name 2s Lipo. I had too many cheaps ones that fail on me and had to throw away after it bloats. I like Gens Ace Redline series which is really good.
