I have one of these. It was great fun to build.

I've yet to have any of their RCs but after seeing your build video on that list I believe that you have convinced me to get one and build one.Looks like a pretty nice kit.

How do I get reverse I just got it from a friend I can go forward and if I go back it stops

I really wish tamiya kits included bearings, other than that and the plastic drive shaft they are good out of the box. Might have to get one of these shells.

Hey man I know what im about to ask isnt related to your video but I know you have a bison and I was wondering weather you had any ideas about putting a 2 to 6s combo in it, the reason I ask is that I have a helion four 10tr and the motor and esc like to get hot and I want to swap it out for something bigger and something that runs cooler ,any ideas what I should spend my money on would be greatly appreciated. Steve checkout the buildoff 4 vid, John from netcruzer did this in buildoff 4 n is racing it, I’m getting the new version of this on Dec15th when it comes out, it’s the same but the body is a lil different it’s theFat Fox edition

Should of got the bearings before you put it together my.man I race euro truck class and the bushings wore out in like the second heat had to take it all apart and put bearings in lol..also water break in those motors

How does the brushed/brushless esc work?

croyce - Brushed uses the nimh jumper on the esc where as the Brushless option uses the lipo jumper. So the Tamiya esc is selectable between either battery chemistry, I would assume it increases the voltage and current output to the motor when the lipo jumper is selected with a load resistor or variable resistor hence why the esc gets hot under load 😁

Yes you can use lipo on brushed motors. All that matters is that the esc is lipo capable

What Steve said, just remember if your using a brushed esc usually you can use a lipo battery but would only recommend 2s as you may release the pixies and cook the motor

@@michaellucre8249 my main question was in regards to the wires - brushed use 2, brushless use 3. Then you confused me by saying that changing the battery chemistry jumpers selected whether you were using brushed or brushless.
