It looks great Dirk! The only thing I could recommend is to hit it with a finishing coat of the flat clear to flatten everything out and give everything the exact same finish. That is the only thing I did differently on mine really, it make it look more like it is desert baked and old. I love all the details and the smoking exhaust is an awesome feature! Great job and I look forward to a gentle drive around with it in the future!

Thanks Addam. And great appointment. I had used a varnish coat. It flattens, but it doesn't look even and it shouldn't, like on old paintings. I'm not so happy with it. Maybe I'm used to normal clear coatings. So I hadn't pointed it out in the video. Next time I'll get back to your advice. Have a great weekend my friend

Vielen Dank Markus. Er funktieniert sogar und kann vom Cockpit aus gesehen werden. Passt also mega zum Scoutkonzept. Hatte den mal für meine Schiffe geholt, aber da war er immer zu groß. Nun hat er einen würdigen Platz gefunden.

Great decision. And just on the spot. I like the modern films, too. As I startet planing this project, I didn't know they release Furiosa rhe next weeks. Vut now I can't wait to see it. These don't get close to the old films, but the stories aren't rewashed, so it's fun to see them, too.

Great Dom, same thoughts I had too. The other thing is one roll over and you shave your complete work in a blink of an eye. ... ... ... IDEA! Do you know these rubbers which're sticked into the screw holes of a servo? Skippers and pilots should be used to them. There're round rubbers, looking from the side there's a gap running around. 1. Drill a hole into the body. 2. Put the rubbber in the hole. 3. Stick a nail throught the rubber. And you've retractable spikes and the body's (and random spectators're) protected.

That was a very informative video the car looks class. I think all the lights makes it a scout car or leads off the zombies. I struggle with painting like you done as I do not see colours right. My paint on Dinky is nothing like yours at all thou it's weathered worn. I do not know if you can class it as Apocalyptic.

Jaja, dieses Video war nicht geplant. Aber beim letzten Mal war ich mit dem Bau fertig. Dann spielste mit der Grabbelkiste und schwupps kommt die Bewaffnung dazu, dann die Flaggen und der Kompass. Nächste Woche kommt der Lauf.
