Tamiya M10 IIC Achilles [
Tamiya's 1:48 scale M10 IIC Achilles, British tank destroyer is quite a good little kit. As I would expect from Tamiya's 1:48 scale range... OR any of their kits in any scale, really...
Of course I make a few mistakes here and there, and there's a few gaps on this one that you don't often see with Tamiya's kits... but it's nothing that will be difficult to fix.
The interior is nice and I think the kit is going to look great once painted.
I had a good time putting this together, and I'm sure you would too.

Achilles would be proud... well, if he weren't dead since thousends of years... eh... and if he weren't just a legend... bur beside this minor issues he IS proud, no doubt about that.

I was tempted to buy the 1/35 scale kit but it has rubber band tracks; thinking I might grab it in this scale instead...

Are those gigantic ejection pin marks on the hull side armor? I did not realize that WWII tank-busters wore molded armor. What are those antenna-mount-looking hole things to the left and right of the front extra armor plate? They look as if something important goes there. I must be really old. Even back in the 1960s when I built my first tank model, I would have sworn off any model manufacturer that expected me to drill holes to assemble a model stock out of the box.
what type of superglue do you use that has a brush and goes on so easily ??
