TAMIYA CC01 LandRover D90 Scale Mods-Weathering-Rugged Coast

Hey friends, The old CC-01 from Tamiya, Defender 90 displaying Bespoke mudflaps, rock rails and other scale accessories with some weathering for that aged look. I also added about 1 kg to the chassis for added realism. I think I should have added some to the body though, and stiffened up the springs... So some of my Bespoke RC mods did not make it away from the beach in one piece...

Thanks! I opted out on the livery. I feel like the CC01 is just not super capable, so maybe I’ll revisit the idea with the CC02 👍👍

Danke shöne! I added about 1kg of weight to the chassis so it had a little hard time in the sand….
Oh NO! Beach Bombs! 😮 That was a close call mate! Love the weathering, the rig looks great and runs well with all that weight added. The vistas were awesome but I don't fancy a dip in that sea! Pity your mudflap made a bid for escape! Great video dude, seeing this has made me want to get my Camel Defender out for a run! Cheers! 😎👊👍🏼

Close call indeed! I think I stepped on it right after!! So I might stiffen up the springs a little, but I think the CC01 is suited for flat even(ish) surfaces ;) Yeah the tail pipe and foot step on rear bumper also broke off then as well as the mud flap. However I did manage to find and fix the mudflap ! Yes get yours out on a trail too !! Thanks so much mate! Cheers!

love the mud flaps . looks great mate and runs well . i’ve now locked the front diffs on mine so am looking forward to seeing how it runs . great scenery to 😊👍

@@MauzyrockRC the extra gear method . can’t remember which video i watched on youtube but it’s easy enough to do . have t run it yet though so it might not work 😂👍
