Tamiya 61124 1/48 Lockheed F-35A Lightning II Model Kit
This video shows the process of the "temporary assembly" of the new 1/48 Lockheed F-35 A Lightning II without any glue.
The video shows the precision molding of the kit and how well it goes together right out of the box.
It also explains the basic structure of the kit, so some of the parts are not installed.
This kit is available for pre-order with a release date around mid-December.

The video seems to be shot backwards. Hence the perfect fit.

That is a really clever way of doing the video though! Minimising any possible hand shake, etc. Very clever. I'm sure the fit is still Tamiya-excellent.
Preordered mine last night, can't wait to build it. Thank You.
I LOVE it! This is so much better than 3D CAD animation, because you can see that it's the actual parts going together. Kit design looks lovely too. Bravo!
Amazing engineering! Great model! Already ordered!
Excellent as always. Now please do a C Variant in 2023.
I'm not even a fan of the F-35 and the Meng kit did nothing to improve my opinion, but this? This is legit, like all Tamiya. Preordered mine on the day it was announced. UPDATE: Holy FSM this thing almost broke me. It looks incredible in Beast Mode and it's one of my best-ever builds, but I'm not doing another.

Could I ask you to elaborate why it "almost broke" you please?

@antonyeocharidis9576 this kit is quite expensive. But i can confirm that the fitting is as good as shown in the video. Highly recommended
Fantastic engineering! This is one kit I'd want to buy again and again.
Tamiya's known for its quality, detailed yet easy to assemble, ( Chinese models have way too many parts) precision fitting as you can see from this video too, variety of selections, the best box art.

Way too many parts? Explain.

@@danreed7889 have u ever build Chinese models; Dragon, Trumpeter, Border so on..they'd come with literally thousands of parts ..one time taken more than 100 parts to assemble the wheels of tanks..that's why I'd prefer to stick with Tamiya models.

@@rszanger I build mostly kits from China. I find Tamiya kits a bit too simplistic sometimes. My 2 cents

@@danreed7889 Everyone has different opinions..so I'd definitely prefer Tamiya's precision fit, uncluttered parts over cluttered, thousands parts of Chinese makers. Tamiya, Academy, and after probably Eduard models. And Tamiya models are maybe too simple to you but u can't deny Tamiya is number 1 maker by its quality, precision.

@@rszanger Yes, the make fine kits and I'm working one one right now. But it is also missing a lot of small details that other companies would have included.
amazing model!
very nice in detail it's a shame it is not 1/32nd scale that's the sad part

You'll have to make do with Italeris' for now but 1/32 is getting too pricey and Tamiya can't get a 1/32 aircraft on the market for a price we can afford anymore! I bought their Supermarine Spitfire last year for $169 Canadian! Ouch!
wow! That's amazing!
This is beautiful! Could you please make a C version?
Put one on advance order today, thanks in part to the video.
Amazing, you are doing a phantastic job in producing scale models, respect!
Love it ❤
Magique super Tamiya merci
Looks nice. Can it be build in flight?
Wait for f22
Nice reverse recording 😂 still looking forward tonit
