Taming Mother Nature with Trent S. | Mike Drop: Episode 67
Ойын-сауық
Since the beginning of combat, weather has played an enormous role in how it's won and lost. Countless souls have been lost due to miscalculations of weather and it’s impacts on the battlefield. In this episode, I sat down with an active duty Air Force Special Warfare Weatherman. From being in gunfights alongside green berets, to missing windows of helo extract that results in being snowed in for 2 days, a fascinating look at a very small and elite, yet vitally important element of this nations war-fighting tip of the spear.

I like this guy way more than I thought I would have. Didn't try to over sell himself and his experience. That being said he's pretty much the airforce version of Rambo.
FINALLY someone from AFSPECWAR. super excited. S.R. is an awesome career field. but i am still waiting to hear a DAMN PJ!! lol

Damn! As a retired Air Force member, I want to acknowledge that a seventeen year SMSgt (E-8) is hot shit. You don't get that by not succeeding in all aspects! Way to go Sir!! And another great one by Mike and the dog references. :-)
Mike is a great interviewer, solid dude, great stories, super stoked he decided to podcast! I'm a civilian and appreciate everything you guys have done. Fellow dog lover as well! Thanks Mike!
Finally!!! A USAF Special Operator! Hopefully he gets more of these guys, especially someone fro the 24thsts!!!

“Like cartel guys?” Laughing my ass off Mike! Shit is great!
This was a great episode. Trent seems like a pretty humble dude considering he's been in the shit with the big dogs. Navigated the questions really well too. Mike being the awesome host he is hinted he's got Mike Rutledge from the 160th coming on soon. Living fucking legend 🇺🇲🤘🏼 Can't wait!
I can't wait for this! Between Shawn Ryan and Mike Ritland, I stay incredibly educated and entertained! Thank you again Mike! Semper Fi! 🇺🇸

Trent is one bad dude. Ive known him from watching Ones Ready for the past few years and randomly found this episode today. I love that coin he gave Mike from the Delta mission that killed ISIS leader Abu Sayyaf in 2015. 💪💪💪
“What are some major attributes to look out for if there’s some ever looming golden shower approaching?” 😂🤣😂
I was Air Force, 1968-1972. Never thought I'd live to see AF Special Warfare people on a Seal's show! Great stuff. And Trent, thanks for your service and being on the Podcast!
In a world full of woke cancel culture and nothing but virus drama, I feel at home listening to these great men tell stories. These are the types of men we need to be turning to during these hard times.
Mike you're a legend man. Looking forward to you and Trent putting on a great podcast.
Finally an Airforce dude next let's get a PJ. Thanks for all you do Mike!
Hey Mike, I am from Canada, I just want to say thank you to you and your brothers along with the good Canadian men in JTF2 that do some nasty shit to keep us all safe!!!!!
Glad for another podcast Mr. Ritland, keep up the great work.
Someone from SWCC next!!
Ones Ready!
You hit a home run with this episode. Thank you.
Right out of the gate, Mike cuts through the shit and goes right for it "is there any reason other than self importance, weather folks call them atages instead of levels?" Lol That's great
Who else is British ? surly I can’t be the only British guy who love these.
This got me thinking, what about interviewing Big Daddy Garand Thumb? Seems like an interesting and articulate guy, and you could cross promote each other's channels. He's actually how I found Mike Drop. He did a video with Kevin Owen, I wanted to learn more about Kevin, and I stumbled across a 3 hour interview on Mike Drop. Been watching ever since!

This was pretty interesting interview, never knew there were weather people in the air force so it was nice to hear about them being helpful to the troops out there in the elements.
Thanks for the interview.

Another great interview really gives a good look at thinks outside our own worlds
Mike Ritland seems like a cool guy and he has a smarfass sense of humor. All respect to him. Beers on me if you're ever in Arizona.
This dude got hazed bad lol mike pocked right up on it. Dude got tight didn’t want to talk about it.
Love your podcasts, glad to see someone who is not scared to say what they think. Keep up the amazing casts.
That was a DAMN GOOD SHOW! Keep it up brother Mike!
America is the best because of these protectors over the Sheeple. Thank you
You always amaze me. I will see a topic like this and think to myself. How can this be interesting? Then after a few days I'll give it a try and the next thing I know you have me hooked on the topic. Now I want to geek on weather. The same happened with Rachel Scheer. I was like . "A female nutritionist? who the heck wants to hear about that?" Now I am deep into fixing my eating habits and down a whole pants size and working out every day. I'm slowly learning to just trust Mike. I know it's going to be good. I appreciate your style and I also like that you don't throw out content just to throw out content. It actually has some depth when you do put it out. I don't mind waiting at all if that matters. Thank you very much.
Keep up the podcasts... they help me get thru my Rucks...
About time Mike lol...love your shit brother keep doing what you do...nothing but respect.
love this, more please
Another awesome podcast! Can't wait for the Mike Rutledge podcast
Mike, you or Shawn Ryan from @Vigilance Elite need to get a PJ on! Between Jocko, yourself, Vigilance Elite, Andy Stumpf, I've yet to see any interviews with PJs. Would be great!
Chandler made me lose it with the golden shower question. 🤣
This and uninfluenced two of my favorites the Shawn Ryan show is great also I'm very happy to have found them all
Mike Drop, great interview with Air Force Special ops Recon warrior, still active duty in the War on terrorism
etage is French for "level" and also in terms of buildings "floors" as in first floor, second floor-makes sense for levels of clouds. Fascinating guest and as always bold questions and great discussion. Thank you.
I enjoy Mike drop
Glad to see you back in action Mike 👍👍
Been waiting months for the next episode and this one looks great!
Great pod!
I 'm so pumped for this next one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very informative...after a 30-year career I didn’t know much about combat weather 👍
I'd like to see you have, "Retired Navy SEAL Don Shipley" on your podcast. As I like to hear his life story and the work that he does exposing "Phony Navy SEALS and Stolen Valor!"
