Hello Sister. I just really quickly wanna tell you about this common issue I find with Indians. The bible never tells you to remove your sandals before worshipping God. it was only when Moses saw the burning bush God told him to remove his sandals. that was to show how Holy God is and that is in the old testament. But we are no longer under the law but under the new covenant where Jesus values your hearts intentions more than your outer apparel. Im not saying removing shoes is wrong. It shows your devotion and respect to God. but jus because someone doesn't do it doesn't mean they are in any way less in God's eyes. For example in Europe, the weather is really cold you can barely stand with bare foot. so don't expect those people to worship God without shoes, that's really absurd. Let's keep our culture and traditions aside when worshiping the True living God. Hope I didn't hurt your emotions or feelings. Amen !

They may have weather issues I didn't mean them....I mean about indians,especially some tamil pastors and worshipers ....Removing sandals while worshipping is a reverence we show towards god and showing that god am ur servant am not higher than you. I down myself in ur presence ...it's one of the way how one humble themself infront of god almighty ....you mentioned that we no longer under Old Testament then why we Christians are following our ten commandments..... Jesus did some corrections in Old Testament...so jesus didn't say don't follow Old Testament.... As you mentioned lord told to leave sandals ,,,,that's in Old Testament.... Yes i agree that.... But what god exactly told to moses,"moses ur standing in the holy place so leave ur sandels away"......church is a holy place because of God's holy presence so why we taking off sandels inside church.....same to worship ,we are worshipping the holy god so we remove shoes /sandels it's a respect and humility we show up to god Especially in pulpit.....as we remove our sandels with humility in god's presence one have to remove his sin with humility in god presence that's it..... Not bcoz shoes/sandels or unholy, it's bcoz dirty...not only Indian but also most of county remove their shoes off while entering home.... We can also take like that. We remove shoes off bcoz we respect our shelter and don't want to get dirt inside our house, same like that we remove shoes off bcoz we respect church more and don't want to get dirty shoes inside church... For home we do such thing na then what's wrong to off shoes in church..... It's a emotion that we show up to god that God am not higher than you...... Simple..... Bible say " humble yourself in the sight of Lord and he will lift you up "......Humbling ourselves in both Spiritual life and worldly life......whether you accept with this statement or not it's up to you..... Everyone has their own right. If you want to worship with shoes. It's up to you ....god bless you
