Any fight against police brutality is a fight for Tamir Rice. Whether his mother gets money or not. This is the Blunt truth. Activists for justice are fighting for the entire body that is receiving injustice. If I speak Tamir Rice's name I am fighting for justice for myself, my children and my children's children. Whether I know of any personal struggles or successes the family and survivors of Tamir Rice are going through is besides the point. Tamika Mallory has said clearly that she is careful to NOT use the names of ANY family her organisation is not directly working with. That's responsible, mature and enough. Now, the other half is Samira Rice and any other surviving member of Tamir Rice family to reach out to whoever they think is miusing their Sons name and speak from a place of truth and facts. Instead of reaching out from bitterness and believing anti BLM lies spread to black people by rich white money. Unfortunately community leaders and community activists will never ever be perfect or do anything perfectly. Therefore they should be criticized with, truth, facts and some level of appreciation for the things they stood up for. An understanding that they are very often not just standing up for ONE person, or ONE family, but for institutional change to benefit an entire community. The best community Leaders will have a hard time in knowing ALL the hurting individuals of the community on a personal relational level. This is just an unfortunate fact. There are many names of police brutality victims not in the media that activists are usually aware of. Your life is not yours and your families alone. The truth is that your life and your childrens lives do and will always partly belong to an entire community. Whether you succeed or fail, whether you are good, bad, famous, infamous or unknown. Our lives are not and will never be just ours alone. BLM started a movement that has already realised serious and real institutional changes that will benefit ANY future ancestors of Tamir Rice. And for this every lie and vitriol you can imagine is spread about them. So criticise with truth, facts and some understanding of the work being done and the people strong enough to do the work. Even when they are not perfect.

@@T.image79 What many do not see behind closed doors are the conversing that community activists and congress/government indulge in.They throw money at these activists and their organization to have them control those people know different than the church pastors who preach from a criteria developed by government. It they preach outside those guidelines they lose money agreed upon by the two parties. If You are marching and organizing in victims names then be certain to have family and survivors present to voice their genuine hurt, concerns, and views of what they desire and change they believe should take place in honor of the fallen. They keep us divided with these simple tricks. They have always used us to pull down, mislead, and even murder eachother.Out of respect any sit down where a victims name is topic a Parent/Family member should be present to articulate for those not able to speak on their own behalves. Donations, t-shirts etc are marketing tools and You see these slain victims names all over the world being profited from in stores or vendors. Point being give a platform to the family in these times and force the powers that be to sit down with real victims and family of lost loved ones.Allow them to set the tone of creating a legacy for their family member.

The question is whether his mom's accusations are actually TRUE? And what the hell does this term "gaslighting" means these days? is questioning whether what someone said is true, or actually asking for EVIDENCE, gaslighting? Now if the accusations are PROVEN, this becomes a different matter. But accusations don't count as true just because someone has made them. Not even if the person who makes them is someone with whom we sympathize because of her tragic loss.

Not a SINGLE movie studio would green light any of Tyler Perry's films. So he hustled, went to Atlanta and created the biggest movie studio in American history. And now look, Hollywood came running to HIM. Barry Gordy couldn't get a job with any major record company so he hustled and created MOTOWN. And then the white music execs came to HIM. Bobbi Brown couldn't get any major makeup line to support her ideas or products for black beauty so she hustled and created one of the most successful make up brands in the country.
