I love tame impala all around but remember when he was like a young hippie with all his buddies, he’s grown up more and reinvented himself. Kevin has always been so likeable, his personality shines through his music, and a lot of people can relate

That’s not just a ‘touring guitarist’ that’s damn Dominic Simper, one of the forming tame impala members, he helped to write some songs of Innerspeaker and was present on the album recordings

I catch myself coming back to this clip and watching it just to feel that excitement. Im so happy with their success and how much they've evolved since then👍🏼

Amy Ohwalawala No I don't think they were told to dance. They just are moving awkward. I've seen many performances when the audience just stands there. It's not a very tv friendly song but the beat is simple enough.

They use a crude pitch shifter from an old boss looper thing (it's for recording but it's a pedal. My guess is Kevin found it laying around his house and decided to use it). You can get the same effect from any pitch shifter really. Add that with delay, reverb, and some overdrive. Bon appetit.
