Yes get two and let them connect together!! Even with a few Tama friends they aren't always available to connect when I want to haha so it's worth it to have 2!

The way I ran to Amazon to pre order! I had so many of these as a kid and I was disappointed with the gen 1&2 rereleases because all I wanted was my connections back, and HERE THEY ARE!!!!

Nice, the exact shell I preordered too! And my husband is getting the Rainbow one. I wish there were hard plastic shells like the Tamagotchi Originals had which I ordered a few for my Devilgotch & Angelgotch to protect the screen when I take them out and about. I’m not sure if any exist for the old Connections or for these new ones. I worry I’ll damage it but still just super excited to get mine when it releases!

hi!! do you know if you’re able to change the contrast on the new v3? i remember i was able to lower mine on either my old v3 or v4, you do it by going to the clock screen and pressing button a and b together. please let us know if the new ones are capable of that as well!!

Would you say the screen graphics still look just as bright and clear as the original connections? I've seen a couple different videos of the re-releases now and it almost seems like the screen is darker/more shadowed/not as clear.. I've watched some videos of the original connections and you can so clearly see the graphics on the screen but all the re-release connection videos it seems like I have a harder time seeing the screen and I'm just afraid the graphics won't be as good. Comparable at least? So exciting though! I can't wait to get mine!

People have been really worried about the contrast, but I haven't any issues with it. Sometimes the glare gets to me, but I haven't had issue seeing the screen.

ty for the great reveiw! question, do you think the japanese connection rereleases will also let you choose between english and japanese? i love the shells they got in the japanese rerelease, i hope they also have an english option!

Yes! It's my understanding that all of the releases will have an option for English or Japanese. That'll be exciting to have the Japanese shells in English language!

So cool! I’m glad you got it early. You mentioned keeping boxes. I keep mine too and i’m drowning in them lol. (Live in an apartment) Did you find a good way to store them?

My collection was way smaller when I lived in an apartment. I would suggest buying a house (ha! jk!) but seriously, I use my boxes as decorations. In the apartment I put them on weird window sills that were too high to do much with, or on mantles. Depends on how your apartment is set up. If you have a bookcase or shelving you can put the boxes there too :)

Yes this is harder to raise compared to the Nanos. I see this as expanded gameplay from Gen 1 and Gen 2. There are a lot more games and things to do. It's very fun! I'll have a vlog up at some point going over the gameplay :D

Nickname is your name, the "name" is for the Tamagotchi. I know that's confusing, I'm sorry!

Man the poor contrast on this really sucks, I hate the way you can see the darker square pixel screen in the very centre which you never could on the originals. It destroys any illusion that it's a "bigger screen". Dunno why for the rereleases Bandai seem to always prefer much poorer quality components...

@@Bigbandbass To be fair I've never used a V5/V6, only up to v4/jinsei, so it may be better than those models. I also don't have one I'm just going off what I see in the video! Ratamazone posted a comparison and you can really see the difference with the old V3 there. I'm sure it'll still be useable...I just think it's a real shame
