Who are the tallest NBA players in history? Who holds the record for the the tallest player all-time? Today we will discover the tallest basketball players, which of them has had long and rewarding careers and who instead was just a meteor.
This is a list of the tallest players in National Basketball Association history. It is currently topped by the 7-foot-7-inch (2.31 m) Romanian Gheorghe Mureșan, taken by the Washington Bullets as the number 30 overall pick in the 1993 NBA draft.

Being tall is one thing, but being tall and able to play good basketball is another thing.
You left Al Bundy off of the list! He wasn't a 7 footer but he did score 4 touchdowns in the city championship game!

My sister went to a club in Maryland back in the day and saw Manute Bol. She said he looked like he was on stilts. Just a massively tall human.
I have pic with Podkolzin and Vranes (took a photo with them when they played in Russia, 2010) !!!) So, Slavko look way much taller!!!!!) He is 7'7 for sure!!!)
Mark Eaton skied very well and with real skill. I would see him at Deer Valley in Utah. May he rest in peace.

Well..the list is totally incomplete..in the 60's & 70's there was Tom Boerwinkle, Mel Counts, Swen Nader off the top of my head..Bill Walton was well over 7' but hated being labelled over 7'..about 1 in 7 actually were impact players so of course size does not equal greatness..

How do u know shaq wasn't? I was at LSU pro day when he was measured. He was 7'1 320 lbs with shoes. He also had a 32 in vert that day. I use to play wally ball at wallbanger crts with him in baton rouge. He was huge and nicest guy ever.

I am 6 9 even at my thinnest i never went under 250lb I feel best around 280lb athleticly speeking Seeing some guys going as low as 220 210 just doesn't feel right
