How to do valve adjustment?

When did Honda fuck up their prop rods? They always had two holes in the hood and you didn't have to take the prop rod off to use the second one.

@@2zzlowyeah i worked on these a ton. Did a lot of timing chains and engine replacements unfortunately people perform oil changes every 10k miles 😅 I don’t think I would wanna work for Honda again lol

So the prop rod was cheaper that the hole plug? 🤔

bare in mind it’s aimed at mechanics and not home users. if it saves him making multiple trips to the parts dept etc, it probably allows him to earn more money cause he can move into the next jobs sooner

Of course if I was working on a single car it would be cheaper to replace the clips but when you do this 2-3 times a week, it will quickly add up and 9/10 the plastic clips will break no matter how careful you are removing the metal rod and relocating it to the higher hole.

There's another service position further back on the hood... ...but thanks for your purchase!😅

Ill have to double check but honestly I just cant take out the rod without breaking the dam clip. I've already broken 2 even with spraying silicone grease.
