@stevedavis6879 She doesn't need to be the most knowledgeable to be one of the best. Her skill is hosting the conversation, knowing what questions to ask to get the information out of the more knowledgeable people. She's never claimed to be the most knowledgeable. She doesn't even refer to herself as a pundit as far as I'm aware. She is a presenter and broadcaster. Hence, she knows how to present the show and ask the right questions, keep the conversation flowing, etc. That in itself IS a huge skill.

I’ll miss Woodsy on TalkSPORT. I don’t listen as regularly on Thursday and Fridays when she’s not in

Total professional. Gifted to the extent that you feel her broadcast is a personal conversation between the 2 of you - an attribute that Danny Kelly also has (top pro as well). All the best, Woodsy x

Jamie got so emotional there, shows just the impact Laura has on everyone.

I listened to Laura for years on TalkSPORT and never knew what she looked liked until now but I tried to picture an image in my head to go with her relaxing voice and I swear that the picture I imagined is basically the same lovely woman! All the best Laura.

Talented, humble, empathetic, funny and an ultimate professional. You will be missed but I think we all knew that this was a stepping stone to what will be a fantastic career at the top of what ever direction you chose. She’s a youngish woman, not a middle aged man. She’s in vogue. I’m overwhelmingly underwhelmed by her to be honest…
