talkRADIO: Ralph Fiennes used lockdown to reflect
Ойын-сауық
Ralph Fiennes virtually sat down with talkRADIO Entertainment Correspondent Josh Rom to discuss his new film on Netflix, The Dig.
Here, the BAFTA Winning actor spent most of 2020 in lockdown amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and has said that whilst people used their time “differently”, he took the time to have an inward look at himself and his life.

Gorgeous :-)
"It's a Suffolk accent...,I wanted to get it right." I admire his respect for all regional accents and the integrity to language. Mr. Fiennes clarified the question with such grace and finesse.

He was born in Ipswich, a historic county town in Suffolk, England. That was his main motivation I suppose.
Congratulation Josh on getting an interview with Ralph when he actually looks as though he’s enjoying himself & is happy interacting with the interviewer. When doing a lot of press, he tends to look as though he’s about to have root canal work without an anaesthetic so it’s refreshing to see him relaxed & laughing!
The Dig is one of the most refreshing & enjoyable films I’ve watched in a long time, I’d recommend it to anyone who’s interested in archeology & good acting performances. Not a sex scene or an abusive word in it from beginning to end & lovely story, Fiennes as the fascinating Mr Brown is excellent.
Phenomenal actor ,love everything he's been in and the fact that he has Serbian citizenship is simply astounding. Truly great man x
Love Ralph.💓
Incredible actor !!!!! He is Truly amazzing love him
He is beautiful and his voice is soft.. Voldemort might look scary.. But Ralph is beautiful
He seems pleasant in these quiet online interviews. I enjoy listening to his thoughts.
I watch it yesterday and was very impressed with the story and the cast, beautifully done, well done to all.
What a great film, if this doesn't win film awards I'd be shocked.

Not even nominated for Golden Globe. Then again, those awards are corrupt. Hopefully, Fiennes gets an Oscar nod. Subtle roles are the hardest to do. Anyone can scream and blow things up.

He won a BAFTA for Schindler's List and other awards, too. The Oscars are not everything.
O my God! For the first time I watched 'the English patient' today and here's my man looking beautiful as before. How could I not know him before
I think I am in love with Ralph Fiennes.

I watched the movie just for him. The movie is gorgeous: wonderful sets, wonderful cast. I only wish it had more story and less introspection. At one time it looked to me like a slow paced documentary. I also wish they developed the characters more. You don't grow particularly fond of any of them, sadly, when an emotional scene is due, they brush it off quickly and get to the next landscape. Ralph Fiennes is such a wonderful actor, he is the man who made even Voldemort CHARMING. Sadly this movie doesn't let him express his full potential.
How to make a good movie. Simple. Just cast Ralph Fiennes in it.
Another great British actor shunned by the perverts in Hollywood.... but we all love him .. a fellow of infinite jest and most excellent fancy... we still talk about Amon and Voldemort

'The Big' is AMAZING, in value, in emotions, so genuine, must watch♥. Ralph is just a stunning actor and so modest. 'Meaning' yes!
Just watched it and loved it! Very moving.
Mr. Fiennes,God loves you and wants your time with Him.
"I have been in films where I thought, this isn't that great. I'm gonna really have a go with it, but I know it's not gonna be that great" --Maid In Manhattan? @5:29

Oh and I thought 'sir' was reserved for gentlemen
Great acting but for the love of god I can come over to run a comb through his hair and make him blintzes to look good before a broadcast. Some of us are old enough to be listing after him still.

Yes! I was in high school when Ralph was in his youthful prime. Personally, I think he would look better today with his hair clipped short or even with a very well made toupee. Hi skin and his eyes, on the other hand, are stunning as ever.
lol he HATES those sorts of questions 'if you were a biscuit which one would you be?' so the sticky situations one would have been hard for him.
Beautiful film. Wanted less of the side romance and more of Basil's interaction with his wife.
he actually looks cute here
