BTW, I like to headcanon Fukase, Arsloid, and Sachiko as siblings, so if you hear Fukase refer to his siblings in my talkloids, he's talking about them.
For more information about Hio and Ruby's monsterness (I might be wrong, so don't quote me on this):
Hio and Ruby were not usual PowerFX releases, so as a result, they're the only ones who aren't monsters. Sweet Ann, Big Al, and Oliver are all Frankenstein monsters, though Oliver doesn't have visible stitches because it didn't suit him. I don't think there's any official info as to what specifically is under his bandages, only that they're of a mysterious cause (based on Oliver's VocaTone character profile).
Based on what Hio's illustrator Sartika3091 said (from comments on her old deviantart posts), Hio has red eyes because Yohio was wearing red contacts in the reference photo for the YOHIOloid design contest. He doesn't seem to canonically be any sort of monster, but Sartika seems to like people's headcanons as to what Hio may be.
(Another reason why Hio can be seen like a vampire is because his voice provider Yohio sometimes has some vampire aesthetics and even refers to himself as a vampire sometimes.)
While studying the designs of the PFX Vocaloids, I noticed that Mishakeet draws Ruby with some pretty noticeable fangs. She also joked (it probably was a joke) about Ruby being a vampire because of her red eyes.
AFAIK, neither Hio or Ruby are canonically vampires, but it is a pretty fun headcanon!

Yeah it’s not as obvious with him than Sweet Ann and Big Al lol, but the monster concept still applies!
I like to think that Fukase was pseudo-adopted into the PFX Fam bc they didn't want him to feel as "freakish" and alone as they did when they were first released in V2/V3. Monsterloids gotta stick together ♡

My headcanon is that Sweet Ann and Big Al are Frankenstein's Monsters, BUT Oliver's a werewolf (inspired by a post I found on a Vocaloid headcanons blog), Hio is a vampire (because just look at him) and Ruby is a witch (admittedly more due to process of elimination than anything). This idea actually ended up spawning into an entire AU concept I've been working on where a LOT of Vocaloids (but NOT all of them) are monsters -- Fukase's a demon; the ZOLA Project boys are based on their Carnelian designs (Kyo = Vampire; Wil = Zombie; Yuu = Werewolf); Dex is a werewolf while Daina's a kitsune and they're both buddies with Avanna, who's a witch; Teto is a hybrid between a demon and a human (hence, "Chimera"); LUMi is a mermaid; Aoki and Merli are faeries; Yufu Sekka is a Yuki-onna; Neru and Tei are gorgons; Haku's a banshee and Dell's a mothman; etc.
Of course Ruby and HIO aren't humans, they're Vocaloids, silly. :P

@@jaidthestar2816I read once that it was because stitches didn't suit him at all, so they settled for bandages (I think you can Google Oliver's pre-designs and see that before he had stitches)
