Talking

i'm back!! sorry it's been so long...
i've got a lot of little bits and bobs i've been working on behind the scenes which I can't wait to share with you though!!
hopefully, it will explain my absence.
i wanted to make a video encouraging people to be inquisitive about disability (i also added subtitles in case they may help anyone watching, god i talk some crap!!!)
a couple of weeks back, a little boy was discouraged from talking to me for fear of awkwardness or embarrassment. don't be afraid to say the wrong thing, saying nothing at all is far scarier....
talking to someone is one of the most powerful things ever, otherwise, how are we expected to learn and connect with one another?
we are all human beings, some of us just take different forms and faces.
don't be scared, i've probably said something far worse.
lots of love!

There's no need to thank me I'm just being honest, even with the difficulties you face you have a fantastic outlook. Unfortunately I've suffered with mental health problems all my life and just watching your videos has helped me. I love your personality, you literally had me laughing out loud! I honestly think an hour chat with you could do amazing things for people who struggle with depression etc ( PS sorry for the long comments lol )

Same!! Parents are seriously the worst sometimes!!! 😮😒🙁 You'd think that with them being the adults they'd be more respectful and set a better example for their children when speaking to/about disabled people around their kids. This has rarely been the case in my experience and it's sad.

Hey, you think that's bad. When I was a kid, and people asked me what disability I had, and because I couldn't pronounce cerebral palsy well, it always sounded like I was saying "Serious Cornies" 🤪
