In Poland black friday became a huge scam. It lasts for about a month, everyone advertises their stores for big LF sales, but actually the prices are higher than during regular sales that happen all the time during The rest of the year. I am so tired of it

Hey, I make some videos about cameras :) I'll try to answer your questions from the video but reach out if you need anything Depending on what it is, if your current camera is 10-15 years old you may find that your phone takes better video. I don't mind you not quite looking into the lens honestly, but if you want to make it easier to do that you can cover your screen with a paper or turn the phone around and use the back camera. For the mic, if it only has a lightening cable then it's not going to be able to plug into anything but an iPhone, unfortunately, because lightening is an Apple proprietary plug. But, you can still use the mic and your camera! Just record the audio onto your phone to an audio recording app and combine the audio and video on the computer. Clap at the beginning of video, and then when you're editing look for the peak on the audio waveforms and line them up, and then mute the audio from the camera. If you decide to invest in editing software down the line something like Final Cut Pro can merge them for you automatically. When you do decide to get a new camera, I'd recommend a mirrorless camera with a screen that can flip around towards you so you can check that you're in frame and everything, and then you can push it back if seeing yourself is distracting. Make sure it doesn't have a low recording limit as well, since your videos are typically longer and some cameras will only record for say ten minutes of video at once. I used to record on my iPhone and my cameras have been much more reliable! But it also quickly becomes an expensive hobby lol Okay, back to listening to this while I do some work, thanks for making it more relaxing!

@@rosegardenasmr Yes, THIS is the comment! I was going to type most of this but now I don't have to. Just an extra heads up..Panasonic Lumix do some decent mirrorless cameras for cheap, but if you're not bothered about 4k and your old one is good enough then try to spend more money on the lens, since that will be the main source of your image quality, you probably won't need most of the fancy features that an expensive camera body offers. On my other channel I've been filming videos with an old Canon 700d, which isn't an amazing body, but I have a fairly good lens for it which transformed the image quality when I bought it! Hope this helps too!
