I looked up this song cause my dad always played it when I was little. And I could tell something was off. He didn’t play this exact version but the version he played sounded like the original but with that lyric and faster bpm. Didn’t notice till now

this lyric is also in the demo version! it’s one of the reasons i prefer the demo version to the official

Personally, I prefer this over the album version by a long shot. Love dem strings, plus David's singing better. xD
