Excellent - now introduce them to planting a seed or two to see how it grows - try someting large like a French Bean or similar.

@@danbartonslifewithbonsai745 your work gives such inspiration and appreciation for the craft/art
Oh wow Dan, very nice pots. And I like the video also. Would happily watch many more like this (Subscribed) In my Bonsai journey I’m getting to the point where I’m looking just as much at the pot. Haahaha, however I don’t have very many pots that would get more than a passing glance. So, I’ve got some shopping to do. Haahaha.

Love your pots. Your glazes and finishes on them are simple great. Your pot making videos are inspiring. There was a smallish pot you indicated was not a commission and was possibly available. Although where I am located shipping might be something to consider.

Dan try using silver sand on your kiln shelves instead of batt wash. It allows the pot to move much more easier when it expands and contracts during the firing. I have used it for over 15 odd years now with great success

Thanks Andy - I usually do add silver sand but for reasons given in the video you will see why I didn't with the new very large shelves that this pot was placed on.
Dan you are an amazing artist.. is the pot that was an experiment available for purchase? I just love that pot .. thank you 🙏
