As an adult with a full time job and who's a full timr student I LOVE SPT. I don't have to worry about waiting 5 minutes to get into a raid, cheaters, desync, disconnects, etc. I don't have to worry about losing a week's worth of progress to BS. With the mod that connects all of the levels it honestly feels more like a STALKER game than anything else, it's great!

I really just wish BSG would add an official singleplayer (or better, fully offline co-op) mode. There's a lot of reasons people might prefer it and they're leaving money on the table. I have a bunch of friends who would buy EFT *today* if they could play an officially supported offline mode.

I got just under 3000 hours online. Checked out SPT about a year ago, never looked back. SPT is for all the old school Tom Clancy players out there, do what you want, when you want, in the dark, in the light, stay in raid for 4 hours, exit through any location, change the weather, fight waves of bots who are WAY better than the AI in the vanilla game. @SPT4LIFE

@@anepB Tarkov is not Nikita's dream game. He literally only started production on the game to build funds for Russia 2028. Hes stated this fact multiple times throughout the years. He has stated multiple times that Tarkov has become a pit project that he would rather be rid of, the only reason he continues with it is because the income and demand is still high.

To clarify a few things: - You won't get banned, I've used it for years and its very easy to not get banned doing it (You would have to install it in the same folder as the official Tarkov, or direct message BSG that you use it). - It does NOT prevent you from playing the main game. You can close out of SPT and hop right on to Tarkov whenever you want. - You NEED to have a purchase of the main game, so Tarkov still gets paid for their game (However, SPT doesn't seem to care what edition of the game you own, so you are able to play EOD with only the standard edition purchased, however, mods would allow that anyways). - To the people arguing its for noobs, yeah, it is. It's a fantastic way to learn the game. It can mark items you need for hideout, kappa, display bullet stats, let you learn the map and items with less risk, let you skip quests you're stuck on, boost certain PMC amounts to complete those specific "Kill 20 Bears on this part of lighthouse" quests, etc. - The AI isn't THAT much better as chat makes it sound (no matter the mod, they can never compare to real players. They are better than scavs though). - Mods such as AMANDS DOES remove fog AND improves fps. - Mods exist to scale the AI with the player, so depending on your level, the AI PMCs will have gear respective to your level. - There is a mod that essentially allows for the customization of everything: Player health/money/stamina/carry weight, AI health, player stat adjustments, item sell/purchase multipliers, flea unlock level, container sizes, etc. All completely optional.

The AI is much better with SAIN, LootingBots and Waypoints. Set difficulty to Impossible and turn up the recoil and spread for bots. They will give you a fair but brutal fight.

@@moxopixel I use bot setting from Altered Escape over on JET as well as custom recoil/spread settings. It's hard to find a good setting you're comfortable with. My 12.12 JET install I have 93% survival rate, Altered Escape-Esque bots only 11% survival rate. It is ungodly harder than online. Mostly because EVERY bot can see through thick fog and rain they aren't visible to you from, and shoot you through any non occluding obstacle that you also can't see them. I make my own items for singleplayer, make my own Traders, my own quests, I make the game the way I want to play it. Online also looks like trash and I can't get it to to be as crisp as my pirated versions. Remember kids, if you own the game you're not pirating, you're 'backing it up'. How the hell can someone tell me I'm pirating something I already paid for lol. Why would I want to pay for or play a game with cheaters in it? Let the kids that say 'git guud' circle jerk the cheaters and go play in a cheater-free environment. Been playing JET/SPT/AKI alongside retail for 2 years. I no longer play retail and just use retail to update my game files for AKI. I have an RTX 3070 and the lighting in places like dorms on pirated makes online look like minecraft. I'd be willing to to deal with cheaters if online wasn't reset every time I just start to feel rich and established in the game. First few times was cool but it's boring now. I don't like losing progress and I'd rather screw off to playing bots than lose progress again. To each their own.

You. Can. Play. Both. People in chat really act like you can’t play and enjoy both. This is my second wipe and SPT helped immensely going into this one. It’s taught me maps, tasks, spots to snipe from, and confidence in pushing and fighting that online Tarkov couldn’t. Honestly, I’m easily startled and Tarkov is by far the scariest shooter I’ve played, almost horror game worthy 😂. It’s not like that anymore for me though, I run straight for PVP on factory now and rush dorms online. Completely different player, confidence at an all time high. Yeah, I could’ve taken time to learn online, but as a solo, the time difference would be crazy, and I don’t have that time. SPT late at night to avoid the hackers, when I’m just chilling with the boys in discord and don’t wanna deafen. I go Online when I really wanna challenge and push myself and get those gains on the PMC. 20% survival rating last wipe and sitting at 48% on this one. Online goal for next wipe is Kappa. Some people just need to let others have fun in their own way, world would be a better place! (Btw get the SAIN AI mods and the AMANDS graphics, and play around with the fun ones too! Day Z heli crash event is sick, Realism makes the game more bullshit than what it is but in a painfully good way 😂. If you are gonna play both don’t mod your gunplay too much, don’t want those tendencies to carry over, consistency!)

Beyond that, they've updated the game's AI and a dozen other features, including a mod that adds marks to items to identify if you need it for a quest later, for your hideout or for barters. The modded game is just what live tarkov should be lol

Just had our first kid and have absolutely no time for Tarkov. Finally tried SPT and with the ability to pause a raid to get up to help the wife or tend to the kid at any moment instead of finding a bush and crossing my fingers is fantastic. Not being able to play with friends sucks, but still being able to play is a win.

As someone who's been playing SPT for about 2 years, you absolutely don't get banned for playing SPT as long as you don't do something stupid install SPT files into your live Tarkov install folder and play online. As long as you keep your Live and SPT installs separate (as in separate folders) and don't run Live and SPT at the same time, you are fine. I've never been banned from live Tarkov. I still use my live Tarkov account to download the client updates that SPT requires.

I do have to agree with this. I keep SPT files on a different drive from my Tarkov drive and haven't had an issue yet. I also dont boot Tarkov when SPT is running. The only time I ever boot my Tarkov now is to update it. I also play it because I dont really have a lot of time to play the real Tarkov.

I play both SPT and Live and have never had any issues with bans. You can't even install mods into the live game because they need Bepindex to run. You can enjoy both... I don't get why the streamers are shitting on SPT like it's cheater heaven, lol... all I do is get my ass handed to me by the laserbeam PMCs.

Lots of mods for the game also make it easier to learn other stuff, like hideout management and what items are required for what quests/barters/hideout. It's genuinely something that EFT *SHOULD* have. Offline raids *should* be like SPT. But they are too busy trying to turn a game that's been in open beta for the last 7 years into a game that's finished.

@@myrar8708 Hey! Yeah, there are a few. SAIN, Questing Bots, Looting Bots, etc. I use No Bush ESP and That's Lit to have the bots' perception work a little bit more like an actual player.

Single player Tarkov is so much fun in its own way. The modding especially makes it feel very fresh.

It's a very different experience from the live game in a way that makes the two work fine separately and together. SPT is great for learning the game and being able to steadily increase the difficulty at your own pace through mods and stuff. Whereas the livegame is tough as nails and wants you to figure it out by spending 10 mins loading into a raid just to die a minute later because some asshole spawned right behind you with their scope trained on your head the moment you loaded in.

I've tried SPT on same machine (separate installs) and didn't get banned. It's a very cool experience that makes you wish it was a full fledged thing. Sadly, poor BSG's AI really holds it back from its full potential and modders can't really fix it besides tweaking some values to make it behave slightly better.

I have myself tried it also with no repercussions, I'm almost certain they just don't care. If its the hardware they try to get then why havent we been banned? I enjoyed SPT when i had it. i could max traders, unlock maps, make labs free.

SP Tarkov lets you play Tarkov exactly how you like. The mods for the game are INSANE!

SPT really made me enjoy the game again, I feel like my time isn't being wasted. A lot of the mods are really cool, even the ones that make it way more realistic. I think it's a good thing to have, imo. nothing can replace actual pvp but it has it's own enjoyment, especially when you can have added quest lines

These types of videos are good whether you're for or against SPT, it puts pressure on the devs to rework the game and makes the playerbase aware of there being a "better" version of Tarkov. I'm honestly still expecting an optimization patch that Nikita said would give the majority of players 60fps on Streets, it was the boldest claim yet I think (even more than Streets of Tarkov), I personally dont care for any more content if the game keeps running like crap for the majority of the playerbase.

well it's easy to do what they're doing lmao. compared to actual development, modding is pennies. most of these mods are asset flips from other mods already in STALKER, Insurgency, DayZ etc. modders just put them into Tarkov. it's not even comparable lmao. hot take; I love the outisde fog. it hinders snipers and makes them move. interior fog can suck me dry.

SPT should be treated as a completely different game. People dumping on it just haven't bothered to think that far lol. The quests, the hideout, the skills. All of this makes so much more sense in a SP RPG type of way than it does in a PVP shooter.

IT IS a different game. It has a lot of major issues that can only be felt when playing it for a while. It lacks the same action that the live game has, doesn't have all the newest features and guns because the mods take time to update and improve, and modders come and go.

There's a mod out there that has already implemented their own armor hitboxes including new damage multipliers for different zones on the legs and torso. That same mod (or a subset of it) also changes the recoil to a much more satisfying style that makes sight reticles usable even at high recoil without turning guns into laser beams, removing the auto compensation and fixing the rotation points on the gun to actually follow the camera.

That's an absolute lie. There's no way for them to detect that you played SinglePlayerTarkov in your PC, unless they installed something that can scan your PC/memory while the real Tarkov is not even open. What SPT does is, it takes the current installation of Tarkov in your PC, copies and pastes files to a entirely new folder. Then the actual SPT mod literally hosts a "tarkov" server with your PC and the SPT client will just connect you to that server, using that separate installation (As Tarkov does not do closed encrypted files for their game). There doesn't exist a single step in this where BSG could even have any idea of what's going on, once the SPT installer does a fresh copy of the Tarkov installation on your PC you could literally unplug the ethernet cable on your PC and it'd still work just fine. IF there were people who got caught and banned for it? It's because they were absolutely careless in some form of another

Being out in the country, I have shit internet, so SPT is a great way for me to still enjoy the game without dealing with the issues of having shit internet. Plus since it's singleplayer, the mod support makes it even more enjoyable. You can't be banned for it since it's completely separate from live tarkov. Nothing carries over at all and you still need to purchase a copy of the game to play spt.

I had to move to the country at one point and Multiplayer became essentially unplayable. I downloaded SPT after that.

You can call in an A10 or a helicopter extract, call in artillery on using smoke. AIs that are actually smart and not either stupid or cracked, graphics that dont suck, sights and scopes that are crisp, good and balanced. You can make it extremely hardcore by downloading mods that supports this kind of gameplay or you wanna make it sandboxy and relaxed by also downloading some mods. Modders also introduced a lot of cool stuff like fixing the FOV, remaking the recoil entirely, adding more attachments and etc. Its basically making a game thats already decent enough, but introduce a whole lot more of colors. The best part? you can tweak it the way you want it without consequences, just that the SPT devs heavily prohibits cheating and you acutally need to buy the game and own the game in order to run SPT. I have played SPT for almost 3 years and even then, my live Tarkov account is still here not banned.

This kind of shit happens in so many games. Devs refuse to make changes that people plead for so modders end up taking it into their own hands only to find out how incredibly simple of a fix it would be. No idea why devs do it. I swear it's like some sort of pride thing.

It's got to be pride or inexplicable fear/paranoia of the game's code being stolen and misused. But the irony is that anyone who has a copy of EFT can do that. There's no special tools or anything that comes along with SPT to make it easier to backdoor or something. Just tools made by devoted players who want to be able to play the game THEIR WAY. Without BSG deciding to rollback things or add unstable patches.

Seeing him go from disinterested, since he initially thought SPT was basically the same as offline practice mode, to "Wait it has Ai pmc's?", "The Ai is better?" "It has better lighting?!" and getting more and more baffled by BSG's decisions was hilarious.

SPT is amazing for people like me who wanna chill with Tarkov. I play Tarkov a whole lot not for the fights , but because I really like the story of Tarkov and the lore BSG could seriously gather more people around Tarkov by simply including SPT rather than banning people modding it.

They don't ban anyone for modding it or playing it, because they lack the technology to know if someone is doing that. They also can't really argue against SPT, because it's nonprofit and requires players have a retail copy of the game. It literally sells copies of EFT. BSG and Nikita are smoking crack if they think SPT is the reason EFT isn't as successful as it used to be. The only one they can blame for that is themselves.

It can be a little glitchy. I usually run into 1-2 PMCS/Scavs just stuck on random objects unable to move because they tried to do some kind of insane maneuver. I've also found that they don't really roam realistically. Most of the SAIN PMCs seem to bumrush the extracts as soon as they load in.

@@ahealthkit2745 I really never had that on my spt. Also it says in the mod, pmcs and scavs run to their extract when they are wounded, but I never got a single one. They usually fight until their last medikit. And after that or I kill them or they keep in the same spot and wait for me.

I recommend it. It's the better training ground. You learn all the quests and maps, learn to overcome your gear fear by playing and acting faster. No more slowdowns, just gaming on live and probably in Arena too. It's the ground to get you confidence for live Tarkov.

SPTarkov is more finished with fewer issues than the actual game.

I never would have even thought about it, but the way this wipe is going, it's very hard to resist the urge for SPT. Can't play streets, can barely play lighthouse, locked behind using 1x scopes because of frames just to list the light stuff. So far at lvl 38 this wipe, furthest I've ever gotten, but each raid is less fulfilling than the last. The main thing that is breaking my heart is the fact that I can finally get a realistic picture of the cheating issue. I used to cope about it like all the rest of us because I used to play solo, and like 80% of your deaths are going to be sus when youre solo anyways (if you're shit like me). But this wipe, playing with a 3 man, there's a lot more information gathered when a cheater has to mow through 3 people before he's clear, which leads to a much more confident ability to be sure he's cheating. Genuinely near 60% of reserve raids. Once a day if not twice a day if we're running Shoreline, same for Interchange, and for any other map it's still around 1 in 15 raids. The cheating is the only thing that makes me glad I can't run Lighthouse/Streets. I love this game. I just wish the devs loved it.

Totally agree. Ignore the megachads who claim the game doesn't have a cheating problem, that really IS cope. SPT is a different experience but it won't have the 10 min load times or PMCs backspawning and killing you before you can even get out of the area you spawned in. It's not the same as live because the PMCS and playerscavs just aren't there, but it's great if you want to know for sure that your deaths are because of you and not anything else, and if you want to learn the game at your own pace.

I quit playing live Tarkov over 2 years ago. Then I found SPT. Now I play Tarkov EVERY day for at least an hour. More when the wife is away and I can blow a whole day doing nothing but Tarkov. It's freaking awesome now. I'll probably never go back to Live Tarkov unless they do some kind of MAJOR overhaul.

I almost quit after i got crashed three times after zooming with shit 1.5x scope, im scared what happens when i reach jaeger ll2...

I only play SPTarkov. No cheaters, scavs can't see through bushes, and expanded stash space. There is even an AI revamp mod which makes AI PMCs really fucking scary. They deploy in groups, hold corners, flank, provide suppressing fire for each other, grenade your last known position, etc. They also react to flashlights, both drawing attention to them and can be blinded by them. They even loot containers and do tasks like real PMCs.

From my personal experience, SPT shines in being a tutorial/training tool for new players and a way to practice/play while servers are down, or just explore the game without any real penalty. I used it to train and get better for the latest wipe, since Live was so brutal. The massive skill gap between me and any experienced Tarkov player made the game pretty much unbearable for me. In SPT you learn literally everything about Live except PvP, and even that can be slightly remedied with AI Mods or just watching streamers. It's made me the best player in my group, even when the others have close to 1000 hours on the game Plus, you get to actually have FUN, which I think the main point of any game should be. You won't die to cheaters at all. If you're struggling with live, please give it a shot. It's a separate client/install and ~40 GB on your PC, so you can play Live at any point. BSG really needs to rethink how they see their passionate community improving their game for free

Once you play SPT with mods and go back to live you will be shocked how bad live looks. I play SPT now because I live out of the country and just like to goof off. It's pretty fun to play as a survival solo experience and with good mods it's really good.

I’ve been playing both for a couple years and have never had a problem. It’s a great time and there’s mods that make it just overall better. The Stay In Tarkov mod is solid too.

@@GolemCC yes it’s very experimental. I also was not the one who setup the server which I heard was very tedious too. He kept dealing with JSON errors etc, but after getting it setup it’s a huge amount of fun.

sp tarkov is great, no cheaters, no servers burning and lagging shit, you can make game so you are hero of the day, you can make game so you are just trying to survive. normal tarkov should be built like that, like you can have your sp account and mp account

I play single player tarkov because I have trouble spotting player outlines in regular tarkov. I just die all the time and i just get annoyed and frustrated. I also feel a lot of pressure vs players. I could never develop muscle memory or aim since I die so often and. The loading times are insane on single player and I learn how to pop headshots while hip firing. I feel pretty confident in my current skills now to actually go back to online tarkov.

This is what I did, it made me a better player. Learning to play the game with SPT makes EFT actually playable. It gives you the freedom to figure out the game and how to progress without ever feeling like your backsliding or are falling behind.

How are they supposed to know that flashdrives are going to be a bottleneck later on? How are they supposed to know that they need to level traders to get better gear? None of this shit is explained and the tips provided in the loading screen tell you a quarter of your keybinds and inform you that scav raiders exist.

You cannot get banned for playing SPT, just copy your game files to a new folder and don't install it into your live version and you're fine.

SPT is awesome. Only time I get to act as a chad, only time I get to use "meta" stuff, only time I can feel safe and not have to worry about exfil campers, only time I can explore and get progression. It's awesome. Tarkov could be a single player game, but who knows.

SPT works great as a way for new players to learn the game without getting shit on 24/7. When I brought my friend into Tarkov I put him on SPT first and his first real wipe he knew more than any other new player did. His PvP skills lacked for a while because he couldn't practice them, but he didn't struggle with learning tasks, maps, ammo etc. on live servers where not knowing these things is infinitely more punishing.

The main reasons I like SPT over real tarkov is cause I enjoy the gunplay and tasking way more than the pvp and the people working on mods for SPT care more about the game than BSG does evidently. The game looks and runs better and the AI is worlds better

as a tarkov and an SPT enjoyer I play both for different reasons. I enjoy the normal multiplayer tarkov because of what it feels like, but I chill in the single player version when I get fed up or frustrated with the online. I love this game more than it's healthy to do so but sometimes I just need a break from the online shenanigans

Forget singleplayer, I wish I could play this co-op offline (with progression)

SPT you can also adjust the weight system and inertia with mods aswell as recoil, scopes, etc there’s so much

there is no way for them to find out if you mod since aren't modifying the game files of folder linked to the bsg launcher. been using SPT for years no issues.

I was one of the Devs back in the day, where SPT was not such a big thing, as is now. Helped cleaning code fixing bugs etc. In the end SPT is definitely better as we did it back in the day, BUT therefore its funny how BSG is like banning for it, like COD does for Talking about SBMM in Live-stream etc. Its crazy how the Gaming community and the DEVs of most AAA games, are so far out of touch its crazy. That's why am coding my own shooter survival game. Coding just coasts time which coasts money, that's why most bugs won't get fixed anyways, cause its a waste of time, but polishing makes people more happy and stay longer on the game... AM not sure why most DEVs are just stupid and just money grabbing.

SPT got me used to the PvP aspects of the game as well as memorizing quests and all around being more confident. You can also install goofy mods and revamp the AI and all sorts of stuff. When going back to multi player Tarkov, I was way better as a player and could push duos and trio squads of players with confidence. I got quests done more efficiently and got my traders levelled better. I got 10x better at Tarkov from one wipe of STP than I was after 3 wipes of playing online.

My only real problem with spt is the ai spawns arent the same as online for pmcs, for maps like factory that’s huge, map flow changes massively depending on where you spawn and how you play the entire raid changes. Idk if there’s any mods that fix that

As a "veteran" (Like a year or two, when the mod was starting to take off) SPT player, the quality difference between vanilla Tarkov and modded SPT is night and day, not just visually but QoL and AI wise as well. You can make the game feel as punishing or as easy as you want with a few setting tweaks and you can make it feel like the game was designed to be single player. It makes the game feel so different but similar at the same time. You can complete every task in the game, and the ones you can't complete you can download a mod to do so. I think the best part is, for people who want the multiplayer PvP experience, which can't be replicated with mods, you can have SPT as a separate install of Tarkov and still play the vanilla game online just like normal. SPT allows you to experiment with all kinds of different things in game that you normally wouldn't be able to, while also giving more casual players a way to experience what the game really has to offer. I hope in the future BSG will make a single player version of Tarkov or at least allow modding support to allow people to make their own choice on whether or not they want that experience. If you want a more casual, fully customizable Tarkov experience, I highly recommend trying the mod out.

SPT is honestly a really good way to just vent away from normal tarkov and just get good or really enjoy the game hacker free and learn the maps and quests . Ai is insane they see you and will charge or nade or work together with other pmcs to kill you. I was on a woods run and befriended an AI USEC pmc at the medical fort and we killed a lot passed meds to each other and shit :) and pushed together but we both got naded at saw mill by 4 man bear unit Hiding in the wear house by the SUVs. They will loot boxes and bodies. I left a Stash bag in dorm in the bathroom and went to gas station to see if boss was there and came back to my bag and it was gone with all the vests and sub loot on the ground...and car extract was gone.....10/10 clean experience everyone should try it at least once just to give there opinion.

Just to clear up something, you can play SPT and return to normal tarkov without fear of being banned if you remove the game files, just make sure to clear them, or uninstall and reinstall and you won't be banned.

Just copy the tarkov files and run spt over those. That way you don't have to remove files or anything, it's as simple as starting either eft or spt, completely separate entities

The SPT mod in their website that has an installer, specifically does a "copy paste" of your Tarkov installation folder for this exact purpose, If you do it on an entirely new install, there's literally no (law abiding) method that BSG can use to detect whether someone played that shit or not. Actually, while the SPT mod website states "You need a real Tarkov account to play this mod" that one is also, a lie. All the SPT Mod does, copy your current Tarkov instalaltion to a new folder (so you can technically get ALL the files to download from someone else, or the internet), and then hosts a local server for you to connect to, using the SPT mod, which serves as the "frontend" so you can connect to this localserver. So you don't even need an actual Tarkov installation, they say that in the SPT mod website to cover their tracks since "it's a mod" and they cannot link to a pirated Tarkov files download and stuff

You don't need to remove any game files. Just keep your live Tarkov and SPT files completely separate: one folder for Live Tarkov, one folder for SPT. Don't mix files. I have multiple separate installs of different versions of SPT that I've kept over the years and my live Tarkov account has never been banned.

When you've had enough of cheaters/being tarkov'd SPT with mods is a good way to get some chill time. Extending raid times and taking a more realistic approach, more tactical is super fun. Rather than rushing about every where

in spt you have better graphics, scopes, recoil, intertia, high/low ready, point shooting, armor hitzones, better AI that roam around the whole map and lots of QOL mods

Played quite a bit of spt and it’s made me a way more competent online player imo

I'd recommend SPTarkov with SAIN AI modification. You feel like you're going up against actual players.

The thing about SPT is Lighthouse Rogue's AI based on hardcore build for SPT. Its line-to-line* close to the one we made for our build back in the day. And also we had 9mm AR before they even announced it, and swappable plates for armor, MCX, HK417(G28), Glock19, and bunch of other stuff that BSG added later on (1-2 wipe after us) *only thing differs between our code and BSG one is they tied Rogues to the roofs of the lighthouse and made few tweaks to their agression and spot distance which make Rogues weak asf compared to original AI

I have been playing SPT from AKI for 4 years now. Same account and never banned. Battlestate can't tell you are running it because you don't use the actual game files that are on line. You copy those [updates] to a new folder and run it off of that. It runs a local server on your own machine and then runs that game only in it. It can't run on battlestate because they don't match. No cheaters, no exit campers, no rats, no lost contact, play without internet...so much better then battlestate in my opinion.

I can assure you that you don't get banned for playing single-player tarkov. You just have to install a separate client as long as you own the game and follow the instructions laid out and you will not ever get banned. I play online and offline tarkov all the time and have never had an issue and they're two completely separate things on your desktop and it's simple

honestly, the SPT is nice, the way the mods add new things and improve the game is really great, you also can add new quest if someone made it, you can play some events who is ended, etc... but yeah, its you against IA only, tbf you can made the bots harder, but still only IA... i recommend try the game once, just dont put anything in the live folder or play both game in the same time at least

BSG seems like a proud group of individuals and I play Tarkov for the PVP... however I'm definitely interested in trying SPT now that i've been hearing about it for a couple weeks over and over.

You don't get banned when you play offline, and you have to own a copy of the game to play it too. Been playing it for 2 years now and i'm just sticking to offline mode, graphics are good, no cheatos pressure. Only downside is you always play on a downgraded version of the current wipe . It means the new changes that occured this summer will only be available to us in december when the next wipe is pushed

It's a very different play experience compared to live. You don't run into player scavs and PMCs in weird locations and they also don't behave like players do. In my experience, SPT is good for people learning the game, but once you get used to it, the live game is way more fun and rewarding to play.

My friend throughly enjoys Tarkov to death, yet his machine is extremely dated as is and he has no home internet. He grinds out SPT like it’s nothing. I’m tired of the cheaters, video game bullshit, and unstable connection that this game has been plagued with, and I’ve always had a soft spot for modding and game customization. Why should I not be allowed to turn my paid single-player experience into something ala STALKER? Edit: Clarification, the mods are completely free. However, you must own a paid, legal copy of the game. Hell, I’m convinced modders fix problems much faster and more effective than any BSG dev. BSG could make a killing encouraging or even using community-created modification. I still play live when I wanna play with friends, but I have a blast enjoying SPT. Sorry for the WALL of text, but come on, let us turn our game into STALKER

BSG are just incompetent. Instead of hiring these guys, they ban people using it. Such a russian way of doing things

SPT is currently the only way for Linux users to play the actual game since BattlEye is broken on Wine.

The worse part is its literally just clicking a checkbox to allow Linux. Another example of why the devs don't deserve the praise they've been given, nor the money.

I play SPT with some great AI mods for a challenging experience as the AI PMCs can be Goon levels of dangerous, but can also present more like newer players. Also, using the Realism mod allows me to remove the damn "Found in raid" requirement live has which is my biggest gripe other than cheaters. I understand that it was to stop RMT so in SPT it is not necessary. I play Live Tarkov in a group as I find it a more fun experience with another player. And to clarify, if you follow the guide, you will not be banned. Just install SPT onto a different directory (folder) and make sure that you fully close SPT before running SPT and vice versa.

I’ve used SPT for a long time now, helped me learn all the maps! :)

SPTarkov made me realise EFT's devs barely care about the game. IMO this game is just a bunch of assets for there next game and EFT and Arena are basically money monopoly's preying on the people who get addicted to this game.

Just shows how dead set Nikita is on his vision and doesnt want to sway from it. SPT is cool and all but lacks in its own aspects aswell. It simply cannot provide the same experience of PVP as online does and also does not feel nearly as risk vs reward as online does. As all ya gotta do is alt f4 and no progress is gained or lost if u die... Kinda ruins the purpose of the game when there is no penalty to it.

Honestly i started out on SPT and really enjoyed making it what i want. Like connecting the maps and etc. The drama that surrounded it really turned me away and i ended up finding the STALKER Anomaly community and fell in love with that. Overall spt is a perfect way to learn how to play the game and genuinely improve your skill in the game.

I've been playing Single Player Tarkov for like half a year and I haven't been banned. The only reason I can see BSG banning people for SPT is if they plan on releasing a single player version of the game already. Here's a list of my mods (summarized to explain what they do) -SAIN mod (impressivley smart AI. Half the time it feels like real players.) -Deadzone (Insurgency Sandstorm aiming mod, basically makes your barrel point to different parts of the screen allowing for more immersive point-shooting) -Realism Mod (reworked ballistics, stances, etc.) -Amand's Graphics (showcased in this video, it looks really good, and can be toggled with a button like Halo Anniversary) -also a mod that makes holographic and red dot sights look more realistic, making the glass piece of the optic more visible -Visceral Dismemberment (BLOOD YESSSSS) -Clear NVGs mod (looks way better than vanilla) -Third person mod (and helmet camera that looks so real) -friendly USEC pmcs, or friendly BEAR pmcs, based on your side. If this doesn't entice you, then congrats, you get to keep playing vanilla tarkov

BSG have specifically stated you will get banned for playing it, he's repeating exactly what BSG said. So the misinformation bit is entirely ironic. I don't see how they would ban you for playing it considering it's in an entirely seperate folder. Although moving to the seperate issue at hand is that I don't think he will be able to stream it on Twitch, considering that warning from BSG and people have literally been copyright striked on youtube for showing SPTarkov. I will even quote BSG with this "When you pre-order Escape from Tarkov, you are not purchasing the software. What you are purchasing is alicense to install and use the software as regulated per the License Agreement." Another one "The use of any third-party software that you replace, override or modify an existing game client files or data in the memory is a direct breach of License Agreement, as stated in section 4.2" The reason BSG don't like it is because it can be an aid in cheat development which is entirely stupid because they literally have an offline mode built into the game that the cheat developers can use to do so. There's an entire response from BSG regarding SPTarkov on the forums. So yes he will get banned.

@NEVER2THELEFT Yes he won't be able to stream it on twitch and may run into issues producing youtube videos. Thats with any third party version of any game. But to say everyone will get banned and shouldn't use it is completely false as the normal player who doesn't showcase playing it (such as myself playing live and spt for 2+ years) have had zero issues. It's to keep the developer safe. Stop being such a mongoloid

The mods are really solid. The SPT devs are really good at creating a solid modding framework. Everything is setup so nicely because of the SPT devs. Modders can focus on the important things for their mod.

Isn't there a limit to how much BP you can buy at one time?

Nikita himself said in i think it was a live stream that sp-tarkov is ok, becuase you have to buy a copy of the game, install it, and then run it at least once, for you to be able to install sp-tarkov. Also I wouldn't see a problem if I was creating a game like Tarkov, and some-one made a ''single-player'' version of it just to play actually casually and however you want, and be able to mod the game, but as long as you have to buy the game itself, it seems ok to me.

I've recently watched a couple of videos on the topic of detecting cheaters with cheats, as well as on the subject of SPT. I understand that EFT is designed with competitiveness as its primary feature, so players should be concerned about the potential loss of valuable in-game items. What puzzles me is why this issue appears to consume so much of company's attention, especially considering that it has been extensively discussed and seems to overshadow the problem with cheaters. One obvious point to consider is the potential loss of revenue if SPT didn't require an official licensed version of the game. However, this isn't the case. Furthermore, I fail to see how allowing "Timmy" players to enjoy the single-player mode more would result in financial losses. The only scenario that comes to mind might sound a bit like a conspiracy theory: Cheaters likely have two main reasons for their actions, although there could be other motivations behind cheating as well: - They exploit their advantages to accumulate in-game currency and experience, which they can then sell to other players. This primarily targets "Timmy" players as "Chads" can handle it on their own. - They derive satisfaction from dominating other players, which requires a larger pool of "online" players. I believe you can guess the idea I'm trying to express here... Otherwise, I cannot understand why a developer would go against the community by trying to get rid of it. The major part is either neutral or positive about SPT. Personally, I haven't noticed a significant reduction in the number of cheaters since BSG started taking measures against them. New reports don't offer a means to verify if a person was actually banned or if they simply changed their nickname. I also have reservations about the accuracy of the reported numbers of banned players, as it may not reflect the actual situation.

i think you're exactly right. BSG doesn't want all the timmys playing single player because then their live game is literally no one but cheaters and a few streamers.

it actually doesn't seem like that much of a conspiracy that BSG's entire monetization strategy would not work without cheaters having to rebuy the game every wipe

"I dont get the hype of spt.... wait they have better lighting why isnt the game like that!" Been playing spt for about 2 weeks now and i love it. Being able to tag cases with @o for an instant fill in your hideout. And @loot so you can loot directly into your cases in the secure container. And changing my flea market limit so i can sell 20 things at once. Saves so much time

single player tarkov was the game i always wanted, fuck this pvp, camping sniping from 1m meters, and ppls lazer guns

I love spt, it's such a great mod for learning the game and if you don't like dealing with people.

the new wipe seems like its trying to implement what SPT was doing with AI over 6 months ago, but its still not there.

you dont get banned because you dont connect anywhere the sevrer gets hosted on your own pc and its a diffrent "ACC" just using a moded copy of the Version you buyed im using both because its a lot more fun but when it comes to play with your buddys you have to go for the normal Tarkov

BSG could just take the code of SPT, say thanks for the work (like as in a genuine thanks) and then release it. Fuck it. Id pay an additional $20 bucks as a SP dlc if it meant extra work on bsgs part to maintain 2 different forks of the game.
