Glad to see you in my vlog again!💛
☕️ If you want to send me a little gift, you can buy me a cup of sweet tea at www.buymeacoffee.com/victoria...
✨Approximate Syrnik's recipe✨ (my husband doesn't remember exact measurements 🫠)
200g of Slavic cottage cheese
2 egg yolks
2-3 tablespoons of flour
Mix together with the spoon and form little syrniks then dump them a bit in the flour and fry till golden from both sides. Serve with sour cream, condensed milk, or jam.

Books are treasures that can be passed generation to generation. In this technically saturated world, many children have never held or read an actual book. A great investment for your family.

Hello Victoria. I am from Great Britain. England .I have raised three boys. They still remember when I read to them as children. Before bed or sometimes when it was raining outside. After the boys had eaten their lunch I wanted them to sit quietly for a while. So if they didn't fancy drawing I would read to them. They all became keen readers. Also at school they were good with English and writing stories of their own. I now read to my grandchildren. When they come to stay with me I hardly have the TV on. It's good to encourage them to use their imagination. Love seeing you back. I have watched you from the time you showed everyone your apartment in Russia. God bless you and your family.🙏😍

So proud of your lovely little library! As a Russian family living abroad, we know how hard it is to build up a nice family library in Russian abroad. But we constantly buy books in the book-shops online which are located outside Russia, it's always a very special gift for all of us to get a new book in Russian :) Hugs from the Netherlands!

As a child one Christmas a relative gave me a book token. It was in an envelope with a simple card bookmark. I don't know what book I choose to spend the token on, but the card bookmark had a magic picture on it of 2 children on a flying carpet sailing over mountains and forests with the words "Book tokens, passports for the mind". I loved that. A book can take you anywhere and make you forget that it might be raining or that you felt sad this morning. Books are so important to a well rounded personality I think. I'm 60 now (still don't know how the is possible!) and I still have and use that simple card bookmark. I still love the picture and the words.

I grew up with three languages. English is my first mothertongue and I had all my schooling in English, despite growing up abroad, but I always had German from the start, too, and then French. Although my parents had a low budget, I was always allowed books, like my mother had, too, as we both loved to read and always had a lot of books. Fortunately my international school had really good libraries, too. I didn‘t read much German or French as a child, but a bit, and now I still read in all three languages. My daughters grew up with Swiss-German, English and German in a Swiss environment and I just read to them in whichever language the book was. We still have French connections and one of my daughters lives in a French-speaking area with her daughters (3&1) so they are growing up with English from their mom, Swiss-German from their dad and when they go to nursery they will learn French, so with the German books they are learning 4 languages at once…! Most kids cope really well with being multilingual. Some of my granddaughters friends have more unusual combinations like Norwegian/Slovenian/French or Russian/Italian/German and I don‘t think any of my international school friends knew fewer than 3 languages, some many more, especially from the Indian subcontinent. English was always a useful common language to have and your kids will have not only Russian, Georgian and English language but also cultures!

I have to share this memory I have that your video reminded me of: I was flying from San Francisco to Hong Kong once in the winter, and the route goes up along the west coast of the USA, across the Bering Sea, and then south along the Kamchatka Peninsula and so on until you reach Hong Kong. We were flying south over Kamchatka during daylight this time and the view was one of the most magical, stunning landscapes I have ever seen. The sharp, jagged snow covered coast went straight into the sea which was partially frozen, with deep ravines and fjords, probably glaciers (it was hard to be that distinct from that height). I couldn't take my eyes off that view.

I used to love reading with my Mum when I was little, by reading to me she used to take me on magical journeys... she also used to be able to do amazing voices for the characters she was reading to me about. I grew up loving books and used to read to my daughters. My youngest daughter runs a local book club and she passes the Book Club books on to me and then I pass them on to Mum (making sure that they aren't too racy) Lovely to see that you are opening up a world of adventure and learning with your daughters.

You have such a wonderful children’s book collection! I especially love the illustrations. If I may offer a suggestion that I learned the hard way: to be safe for children like Agatha who might climb on the bookshelf to get a book on a higher shelf. To be safe, we anchored the bookcase against the wall with a screw so it won’t topple on top of the kids. Love your wonderful family!

What a precious kitty. I am partial to the orange ones myself. We adopted a stray one that came to our door. My husband assured me she was a girl so we named her "Blondie." When she grew up it was obvious she was not a female but a large male. My husband now calls him "Bruiser." So, we now have a cat with two names. He doesn't seem to mind. He is patient with us and answers to both. Btw, did you know that only 20 percent of orange cats are female like yours? 😊 🐱
