You have to go for confession and take a holy eucharist. Destroy the anting anting or the crucifix and buried it. Make sure to wash your hands with holy water afterwards then make sure to live a moral life to cut the curse. Keep praying the rosary and ask protection also from the angels like St Michael and to the Saints. But if you feel you were still harass by the bad spirits you can go to your nearest church and ask for help for an exorcist priest so that they can exorcise or liberate you from the evil spirits that has a curse on the crucifix that keep harassing you.

If she is living an immoral life then she is not in a state of grace and not under the protection of God. Thus, she has an 'opening' and may be harrassed by demons. The same goes for her partner because he wears and believes in the talisman. He also has an opening both for wearing the talisman and for engaging in an immoral relationship..

This sounds like it is entirely and specifically meant only for Filipinos and their culture. This would not be completely relevant here in North America. There are people who are into the ‘occult’ or practice “black magic”. The majority of people in North America are not exposed to “curses, black magic, etc.” for the most part. It’s not something most Catholics here can relate to. No offense, but this sounds very much like it’s coming from the old Spanish Colonial response to aboriginal Filipino (Indonesian/Austronesian) culture. The Spanish were very well known for being paranoid in their response to pre-Christian customs and beliefs of Indigenous peoples, which to some limited extent included ‘magical’ beliefs or practices, which the Spanish friars considered ‘demonic’ or ‘superstition’, which is simply cultural misunderstanding and more accurately simply a form of ethnocentrism. The Spanish friars and authorities were known historically for even torturing Indigenous people in the Americas (Mexico, Peru, etc.), and even here in the Southwest US (in what is now the state of New Mexico) were known to have hanged or burned women who practiced or had knowledge of healing herbs and other knowledge, and assumed they practiced ‘sorcery’, ‘witchcraft’ or worshipped the devil; most of which was false. That said, there are those who are genuinely practicing sorcery for the purpose of self serving power or evil. It’s inconsistent to be a practicing Catholic Christian and believe in the gospel and at the same time wish harm and curse others due to anger or hatred (or other emotional issues).

I agree. I am into deliverance ministry before and i have a complete set of exorcism books of the Archdiocese of Manila but there are many beautiful cultures out there that can be misunderstood (obviously they will insert that the evil one is a deceiver). There were great cultures, communities and traditions that were persecuted because of their practices just like the martyrs of early christianity. And if only we are only accepting and also value unity regardless of our beliefs. I so admire the courage of the martyrs of the church but im aslo praying for the victims of the inquisition.
