Many of them captured and still maintain these weapons. They take good care of them and even view them as a warrior’s tool, like a samurai would treat his family sword. They also get more new weapons from captured supplies or other geurilla actions, or buy them on the black market. But the Mujahideen and other pre-Taliban groups captured plenty and many of these weapons are still used. So that 240 will absolutely be used in the future against whatever enemy is there that day. Assuming they can find or procure ammo for it.

I fell in love with an Afghan girl once, her family had immigrated to America less than 10 years before, I met her at work actually. They are strict and stubborn people but also very hospitable and fair in their dealings with others. She was a kind hearted person and taught me a lot about her culture, most importantly she taught me what true love feels like. We both made some mistakes and let our egos get the best of us, and now she’s gone from my life, but I miss her more than I can possibly describe. I pray to Allah that he brings her back to me some day. I wanted to marry that woman. Anyways I don’t expect yall to care but I just had to get it off my chest lol
