ZelosSama The only Tales voice Troy Baker has done is Yuri Lowell (which was awesome). They do have similar voices (and Matthew Mercer even took over Troy Baker's role as Kanji from P4 in the spin offs), but Alvin is definitely not played by Troy Baker.

One of the few ones that I wasn't THAT convinced was better than Xillia 1's (audio-clipping notwithstanding). "HEAVEN NOR EARTH SHALL CONTAIN ME" is pretty great, too.

The voice cast and work for this game is just too amazing. Everyone was so awesome, and while the english VA did an awesome job, I'm not sure anything compares to Tomokazu Seki going de-de-de-de-de-de! for Stahn's final fury Hi ougi

When people ask me why I love this game so much I just show them this video.

everyone else is thinking "wow what amazing spirit artes"', while I'm over here thinking "damn aren't some of those overkill for some of the weaker monsters". XD

11 mystic artes. 3 weapons A transformation with 4 levels wich gives him another 4th weapon 40+ artes with advanced version And a shit ton of skills Ludger has to be the one of the most OP characters i have ever played in a video game

Judgment of the heavens and Tiger blade sigma are my favorite mystic arts, I can not help the emotion that causes to see all the mystic arts that are shown here.

Goosebumps. Goosebumps everywhere.

What I find funny about Julius' Ritual of Devastation is that it never kills you; it will always leave you with at least 1 HP. Meanwhile his regular attacks and artes can kill you just fine. Xillia 2, you and your weird ways.

Well think about it, if you had like 1/3 of your HP you are still probably safe against normal attacks, and can act with a reasonable margin for error, but if he used his mystic arte on you then you could die without any chance to react.

Xaveze You haven't met the menace that is Julius' Moonlight Assault; if it hits, Confusion follows. And that is death. But even at low HP, Julius' Mystic Arte never kills. Ever. Even if you had 10 HP when he uses it and he does 4000 damage, it'll STILL leave you with 1 HP. It's an odd quirk in the fight's design.

Boss mystic artes often don't kill in Tales games because they're unavoidable damage.

That doesn't stop almost all of ToX2's Enemy MAs from killing you. Victor's, Muzet's, Maxwell's, Bisley's, Stahn/Cress', Wingul's, Chronos', Nachtigal's, the Chimeriad's, Ivar's, F. Alvin's, Rideaux's and everybody in the Julius/Bad Ending's MAs can all kill you. The only one that absolutely cannot kill you is Julius' (excluding the Jude/Milla one in Ch14 cause it's automatic).

Will the Murderous Muzet face ever end? You love torturing our psyches don't ya, Omega?

This game so far has my favorite Mystic Artes; I especially love Ludger's Ritual of Destruction (badass name), the Chromatus Mystic Artes (Eternal Waltz ftw), and the Dual Mystic Artes (love all of them). I still don't understand why Catalyst Wingul's quote for Lightning Nova was different up until he calls out the name, which is the same voice file from Xillia 1, but then they left the original quote on Fractured Wingul, but the "LIGHTNING NOVA!" exclamation was different.
