Tales of JATAYU Earth Centre | Episode Three - The Keralan Days

Hey everyone, welcome back to episode 3 of Keralan Days! Today we're venturing to the incredible Jatayu Earth's Center, home to the world's largest bird sculpture!
Jatayu Earth's Center, also known as Jatayu Nature Park, is a must-visit destination in Kerala. Nestled amidst the rolling hills of Kollam district, this park stands at a staggering 350 meters above sea level. But its true claim to fame is the colossal sculpture of Jatayu, a revered bird from the Ramayana epic. This magnificent creation by artist Rajiv Anchal stretches over 200 feet and offers a truly awe-inspiring sight.
So how do you get to this avian marvel?
By Train: The nearest train stations are Kollam Junction (35 km away) and Thiruvananthapuram Central (55 km away). From there, you can hire a taxi or rickshaw to reach the center.
By Car: Jatayu Earth's Center is easily accessible by car. Located on the Main Central Road connecting Angamaly and Kesavadasapuram, it's a scenic drive from major Kerala cities.
By Air: The Trivandrum International Airport is the closest airport, at about 52 km distance. Taxis and car rentals are readily available at the airport to whisk you away to Jatayu Earth's Center.
Get ready for breathtaking views, a fascinating sculpture, and a unique experience unlike any other!
