The people of Kozhikode are least aware of this unique place of worship and we are exclusively covering the temple in detail.

Built in the 18th century and about 200 years ago when Parsi traders settled in Kozhikode.

The fire temple known as the Parsi Anjuman Baug, which is located on Kozhikode's S. M. Street, was built in the 18th century.

The Parsi community, who had relocated here in quest of better trading opportunities were behind the construction of this temple where the God Ahura Mazha is being worshipped
.
A religion which was quite prevalent in Iran was later wiped out from the location after the conquest of Islam.

More than a hundred families had relocated to Kozhikode, considerably enhancing the commercial activity of Malabar.

The Anjuman Baug temple they constructed is the sole Parsi temple in Kerala.

The Parsi legacy in Kerala is not widely known.

The Marshalls, the sole remaining Parsi family in Kozhikode, are currently responsible for maintaining the temple.

Despite the fact that the majority of Parsis have left the state, the temple serves as a reminder of Kozhikode's Parsi heritage.

ഇന്നലെ രാത്രി 3 മണിക്ക് കോഴിക്കോട് ട്രെയിൻ ഇറങ്ങി SM Street ലൂടെ നടന്നു വരുമ്പോളാണ് ഈ ഗേറ്റ് ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചത്. നോക്കുമ്പം പാർസി temple. വെറുതെ ഒന്ന് എത്തി നോക്കി ഒരു ചന്ദന തിരി യുടെ മണം. അങ്ങനെ അതിനെ പറ്റി കൂടുതൽ അറിയാൻ google ഇൽ തപ്പിയപ്പോൾ ആണ് ഈ ഇന്റർവ്യൂ യിൽ എത്തിയത്. Sweetly mild mannered couple...very exotic minority of india...first time seeing a so much keralised parsi..especially chettan , a malayali who just happen to be a parsi..never thought a parsi could be came across south of maharashtra..
Love the people very much.Nice Interview.learn so many things about Parsi family in Kerala.
To those outside of Kozhikode, the city is famous for its well mannered and cheap Autorikshas - Chandasekharan- Kottayam
