Really enjoying these videos. A real good trip down memory lane for me. My Grandad (Ernest Dale) was a park warden at Tunstall Park back in the 70's. Thanks for the memories 😊😊😊

Back in those day use to scared of the wardens in Tunstall Park. Checking your fishing tickets around the lake. Shouting the rowing boats to come in, Come in number 9 your time is up. we have only got 8 boats. Are you in trouble number 6.

At 9.50Mins if you went straight on through the road repairs passed the church on your right then the Methodist church on your left passed Sunningside Ave on you left and passed the council houses set back on your left Robbie's Mum's family Ex house was the first large semi detached ( Set of large gates ) at front on the left before Irene Ave. Tunstall as got a couple of new retail parks behind the new library in tower square.

Great thing about parks is they are open 7 days a week 365 days of the year. They were at one time open 24hrs but not anymore im afraid, yet another nice vid :)

Well done mate. Excellent footage, great commentary as usual, and not too much riding on the pavements! Full marks, keep it up.😂😂😂 I'm told Tunstall still has row boats on the lake on SOME Wednesdays, be good to catch that if you can. I took my very elderly parents to Hanley Park lake a couple of weeks ago and all Dad was asking was where are the row boats? He was so disappointed they don't have them any more but I'm hoping Tunstall will fire him up again soon. Cheers and thanks for sharing. 👍
