May I ask how much you weigh? I guess it affects the range right?
@freerfixedit

I weigh about 185 right now. Also running a non o-ring chain with less resistance, and a headlight switch with headlight off. Probly doesn’t affect range much but just want to be as transparent as I can. Also did videos on those things as well!

good stuff my dude! When I first ordered my Surron back in 2020 everyone said it was gonna be a cop magnet... but didnt get stopped once. Obviously there will always be that "someone" that will find something to complain about but honestly as long as you're respectful to the people around you when you're riding then I really don't think too many people care. Keep up the great content! My bike gets here tomorrow and ill be cruising all through wilmington NC!

Thanks a lot for the words! Really appreciate it! And I totally agree… don’t ride like a total moron and don’t give them a reason to stop you, and they won’t. I bumped into a cop in target yesterday and asked him the e bike laws here. He told me to go with the flow of traffic, wear a helmet, follow the laws of the road, and to stay off the multi path on bay drive. Pretty simple if you ask me 🤷🏻♂️ thanks again for watching and I hope you enjoy your new bike 🤙🏽
Dude these vids are awesome. I felt that same feeling of exploration when my dad got a few normal electric bikes and there are so many skateparks and paths and trails I wouldn’t have known about it’s awesome. I’m saving for a talaria or surron, it’s been my dream for years. I’m really hoping 🙏🏻

Love the vlog style! I’ll always tell people I would rather have a electric dirt bike I can ride anywhere any time over the most badass dirt bike. I’ve owned and ridden a lot of 2 strokes and 4 strokes. And I’d still take a Sur Ron over most because they’re just that fun. I’m not racing or competing so these are fine for me. Being able to fit almost anywhere and explore is what makes these so unique. You do it on a 2 stroke and you piss everyone off and get the cops called.

Lower the tire pressure a little and that will help with leaning while wheeling
@freerfixedit

I’ve got it at 15… you think I should go lower? Scared to with this stock tire. Also… this is 20psi less than the manual recommends. Probably hurt the range slightly…🤷🏻♂️

@Freer Fixed iT no that's low enough. I assumed you were running it at stock psi.
@YouMad_ImBad
Жыл бұрын
@@freerfixedit Yeah id think 15psi is fine. I wouldnt want to go much lower and run the risk of spinning/ ripping the tube. One thing to note if you feel like wheelies always pulling a little to the right. Roads are slanted for water drainage so it will natrually lean to the right if youre balanced in the middle. I think you got it, just a little more pratice and youll have full control. Love the contect. Keep it up 🤘

@@WeRideN404 bro I get it. I have a 22 works edition crf 450 and I almost looped this bike the first time I tried to wheelie it! Man your videos ROCK! I live in South AZ so mostly desert. What’s your opinion on the bike in sand? Also, I’m 200Lbs I know more weight more work the bike needs to do but anything structural in your opinion I may need to consider?
@freerfixedit
Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Nothing structural to be concerned with. It doesn’t do so well in sand with the stock tires and stinkbug geometry. It just makes the front end a little twitchy cause the rear sits higher than the front. Still doable tho! 🤙🏽
finally a real range test great video :) but how long can you ride with 1 akku? is it possible that you can ride like 2-3 hours on the trails? sorry for my bad english XD
@freerfixedit
Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yeah I think trail riding is much easier on the battery life than full throttle or constant speed travel on the roads
Nice video buddy! How much acceleration do you lose as the battery depletes, let's say at 75 and 50% full?
@freerfixedit
10 ай бұрын
None really. These are lipo batteries so the bike feels pretty much the same until you get below 10% or so. Then it goes into a limp mode to get you home. Feels like eco mode. But I can still pop wheelies and hit full speed at like 20%
those wheelies are pretty sweet , but i notice since you are on regen 4 you feel you dont need to press your back brake. this may seem fine but it will make you loop out in the long run, if you pop the bike and slightly brake at balance point , you will feel yourself pop into balance point with much more control. great video loved it
@freerfixedit
Жыл бұрын
Thank you!! Since this I’ve dropped down to level 3. Been figuring out how much brake pressure to apply without slapping it down. Going to gradually back off regen all together. It’s just crazy how fast you gotta be with that back brake finger with how much torque this thing has.
@ismevictor7289
Жыл бұрын
@@freerfixedit yes it is very torqy, i put a 54t sprocket on mine and after a while of just popping the front over and over again, you will just gain the control to stay in a deeper balance point. it took me like 2 weeks before i just started to feel all the control over my bike in a wheelie. but you are well beyond on your way to perfect balance point

@@ismevictor7289 glad to hear it. Like I’ve said, I like my moto bikes choppered out and this bike is def stink bug front end heavy. Thanks man! Seems like getting it further back to the actual balance point helps a lot. Also going atleast 15mph stabilizes things a lot. But I will say, on this bike, wind plays a big factor. If it’s too windy it doesn’t matter what I do, I lean one way or another. Good luck and stay safe!

Now I have kinda the opposite of you. On the road I don't have to worry about knobby tires trying to skip around in a tight turn. On the dirt I don't have enough traction to wheelie it like you have so in grass instead of gripping and tossing grass rooster tail and my front end coming up to the balance point I spin and get fishy tailed...
