Talaria Sting R after 1 Year! Is it still worth it?

I have now had my Talaria Sting R MX4 for 1 year. In this video I go over what has and has not held up, to hopefully answer the question is it worth the price?
Hopefully you enjoy the video. Im looking to upgrade my bike comment what you'd like to see me do!

Your fork became softer, because you lost air in the fork aftee that jump. Just pump it back. Remove right side bottom nut shape cover and there is air valve. Tons of videos on KZread how to do it.

Nice review. Good to see that it has held up to some aggressive riding! Pick up some Shinko 241s. Good on the road and you can still hit the trails, as well. Have a 2019 Surron that I'm selling, and waiting for my Sting R to show up!

Well worth it and I got the mx3 right before the mx4 came out lol you got a wee more power than i do.. my Favorite tires so far for stock wheels are Kenda millville 70/100/19 but only for off road they will not last on road.. I think you could use the gritshift heavy hitter skid plate. I got one and Recommend if you like the look if not there are others that are better than stock.

Thanks man, I have an MX3 and an MX4, both mostly stock for now but probably gonna pull the trigger on the Torp controller for the Sting R soon. Glad to know it's holding up well through all the "abuse" lol, mine are babied compared to that jump where you bottomed the fork out haha.

I'd actually prefer you keep it stock. So many KZreadrs turn their builds into "bEsT TaLaRiA/SuRrOn mOdS UnDeR $150!" video chum and it's hard to find people who put the stock build through its paces. But that's just my opinion. Great video keep up the good work!

im pushing stock. off road i needed better grips, stock vibrate my hands off. bar is needed as off road it hurts your arms after 2 hours day after day the stock angle is too straight. rear brake pad is a nice have to do trail braking and drag the rear easier. that's all that's needed. New rear spring lighter would be great it too stiff for my weight.

Really no reason to keep it stock though, its not perfect out of factory and you can use mods to make it accomodate you better and battery for, riding the bike more, controller to make throttle more for your taste

While it's awesome bike (I dont own it, but did lease it for a weekend from local shop), I wouldn't replace my 85/110 cc 2stroke for it.but then again, it's hard to compare fully prepped MX bike with electric one, so the company deserves all the credits they get.

At EbikeZilla , the cost of the MX-3 motor is more than the MX-4's. Why?...because the MX-3 motor can safely run 10,000 RPM where the MX4 can only do 8,000 rpm. KZreadr Stingy Rogers discovered this fact. Oh...one more fact. Talaria recently released their 2nd generation controller for the 2025 Sting R. It's easily identified from the 1st generation Sting R controllers by the inscribed words reading STING R. The first generation Sting R controller inscribed on the face simply read TALARIA. The new 2025 Sting R controller has a 10% power gain over the 2023's R controller.

I know plenty of people who make less than 30k a year who buy new dirtbikes for way higher prices than this.
