In a tell-all interview, the filmmakers recall how they battled it out while writing Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. This is why Vishal Bhardwaj has my utmost respect.. Adapting classics - yes! But adapting and turning it into his own and still making it relevant for the audience absolute master

💯 I have a feeling Archies got heavily influenced by the mediocrity of the 3 starkids. With talented actors at the helm and a stronger plot- it would have been a winner. She nailed the essence of Riverdale.

Mayank does it again! This is the best interview in my opinion of this brilliant duo. Loved how Mayank focussed on Reema at 16 minutes onwatrds and then made it such an engaging conversation with two

Amazing that archies' dialogues were written by so many people, coz it doesnt show. Not hating on Zoya and Kagti. They are amazing and their best is yet to come.

The interview started a little slow & Zoya-heavy but after a little while when Reema was brought into the conversation as well, it was quite good. It was interesting to hear about their process, how they differ and aid each others’ work. And I did see comments about Zoya monopolizing the conversation. And I do agree to an extent. But it seems like Reema prefers not to have the focus on her. And will speak when she feels she has something to add. And they’ve been working together for years, so I’m sure they’re very comfortable with their dynamic. Reema is introverted but not a pushover so I’m sure she’s fine.

Reema kagti if u r reading this : u really dont need anyone to back u . U arent anti social just introverted . Stop collaborating with someone who doesnt let the light shine on how important you and your work is . Let her do few projects by herself . Same combination same narrative . Venture out for god sake ..

It was good, think of the set production, being true to original Archie’s nuances but also building it in post independence India in an Anglo Indian community. Also making it a musical - it had a baz lurhman vibe - amazing achievement but the audience was not ready for this
