I came from yoyos, can some explain to me how this works? I assume there is a tier of difficult in trick, and you have to land the trick to continue ?

There’s a list of tricks with varying difficulty, and each trick has points associated with it. Do as many tricks as you can in the allotted time to score points. Most points wins

that’s what I thought after seeing videos of competitive kendama but after getting a kendama, it’s actually way harder than it looks. I can see what you mean though.
