    You may not like the styling of japanese cars, the technology they use. But one thing is sure - RESPECT to those guys working for these companies as they show true passion :) They're simply the best engineers

    None of these technicians are engineers. They are simply skilled assemblers. It's a bit sad these these guys are the hero's of the engine/car when in reality the team of people who are designing all of these components to work together, choosing materials and the people who design the tooling to create all of this stuff are the real heros.

    breezy_a " technically" hes right. They ditched the skyline and just went with GTR in 07. But the first skyline GTRs were in the late 60s early 70s.

    My Father had Driven 10+ Japanese Car's in his Lifetime. That includes Toyota, Nissan, Dataun etc. during 1980's & 1990's. My Father's Favorite Sports Cars from Nissan was Nissan GT-R R34 Nismo Edition. But My Father died on 5th June, 2020 due to Renal Disease. My Father died but left his Cars on Earth. Even I Love Nissan GT-R R35 & I want to Drive Nissan GT-R R35 & which is My Dream Sports Car. Japanese Car's are the most Reliable Car's in the world. Nissan GT-R R35 is one of the Masterpiece in the Japanese Automotive Industry. Japan 🇯🇵 has Great Car's & Great Engineers as well. Salute 4 Sir's from Bangladesh 🇧🇩. Greetings from Bangladesh 🇧🇩.

    Love this this is a major reason why the the gtr is such a great car real quality and engineering corvette engines are hand made as well Ferrari and just about any top notch sportscar or supercar.

    These guys know what they are doing no doubt, but they are using state of the art assembly tools to assemble an engine that makes just over 500hp. They aren't doing any machining at all, just assembling. My engine builder for my race car does all the machining, balancing and assembly in his home shop. The engine makes close to 1200hp using a single 4bbl carburetor. No overhead cams, no computers. These guys are good, but they are not that good.

    I don't know of any other manufacturer in the same class as the GT-R that hand builds thier motors. One big reason I will take a used GT-R over the new Supra.

    Only other is AMG, All are hand built except the A35/CLA35's M260 2.0 litre 4cyl Turbo, M276 3.0 litre V6 TT and M256 I6 TT.
