Taklong Island National Marine Reserve is approximately 1142 Hectares
its really a diverse area dedicated to protecting nature. We snorkel here weekly mainly hunting for giant clams. This a really just a short sampling of the wonders this place provides for snorkelers. The clams you see in the rock are the smallest of the giant clam species, Tridacna crocea. The others are mostly Tridacna squamosa. Hope you enjoy this

*Excellent underwater views of the clams and marinelife. It is a reminder that I have not been snorkeling since the pandemic began. In a few months the water here will be the temperature of bath water. Perhaps I will go then. 👍*
