I grew up without my dad being around much Andy so I know the importance of young men having older role models in their lives. Plus trying to keep up with them keeps me fit.

There was a time when you would pull up as you were passing each other and let each other know where you would be hunting and it's not hard to show each other a bit of courtesy. Lost and found my hand made knife in excactly the same way, call of nature! Back tracked to the 'dump site' and found it not to far away. Left the hill with a red stag and spiker and my cherished knife, sweet.

yeah. Normally I film everything and if we don't get a kill I don't post it. This time I kept little bits of all the hunts in the last 4 weeks regardless. I might start doing that more.

Thank you Cathy. I use to know a family with the same last name as you that lived in the Able Tasman National park where I lived when I was just 5 years old.

Hi Clay, love the vids, I’m stuck in Australia at the moment,I spent 10 years living in a house truck with two jack Russell’s up at mot, I left in 2011, My breeding pair of jacks, left there mark in the Tasman area, having had 5 litters and 21 pups, where great little hunting dogs. My boy billy in 2011 baled a large boar at the side of the road , the afternoon of the raiwaka hunting comp, unfortunately bill got ripped bad and didn’t survive. I also had a few unfortunate events happen to me, I also play and sing and have busted all around the world, but my love for wood work saw me losing half of my index finger on my fret hand, but as all goes I’ve adapted. I’m looking at moving back to the Tasman area next year, watching your vids made me so home sick, having been to a lot of places that you have been. Love that you are helping the younger guys out, Your a fucken got brassard. Kind regards Nicholas Abrams

That's young Smash. He once was a top rugby player too. One time Liam gave me two tickets for myself and Smash to go watch the all blacks in Nelson play the Panthers. Liam Squire is a Dimond Top Shelf Good Bastard 👍
