What’s the Maxx battery voltage you can use in the receiver pack. That NIMH seems like a pain in the butt can you use a small LiIon or Lipo?

Yeah you can use a 6.6v lipo or Li-Fe in there. Not sure what max voltage the receiver supports. But 6.6v is pretty standard

@@theRCelement not sure how that would work than as lipo are at 3.7V/cell so a 2s would be too much at 7.4V no ? Maybe best to use rechargeable AA batteries, I use this ERB that charge via USB so I guess that’s probably a good option. I can’t wait to get my first Nitro RC I’m so excited

@@bubblesrcshed No they make 6.6v receiver packs for that purpose. Most are Li-Fe packs.

I have the same Tmaxx (Same body and everything). Its getting weaker and weaker. It's time for a 2.5r or something. Mabey I should put an os21 engine in there. There only more expensive than the truck itself but at least it won't be so sluggish.
